Weeks ago the woman had caught a scent that made her feel like electricity was running over her skin. It was not just familiar, but familal. At first she toyed with the idea of hanging around Boreas anyways, but she couldn't stomach it. Even if her mind was just playing tricks on her, Alis was inclined to choose enjoying her days rather than looking over her shoulder and worrying that ghosts from the past might come to haunt her at any moment. Yes, a day at the beach was much more enticing.
Padding through the sand, the woman took in the salty air and enjoyed the feeling of the sun on her pelt. It was warmer here than in Boreas. Red eyes scanned the sand, the waves lapping at the shore, and the vast sky dotted with calling seagulls. The bifröst was mostly empty aside from herself and maybe a few crabs scuttling through the sand. Stretching out her limbs lazily, she debating between a quick nap or a workout. The sand was perfect for exercise, with all the extra resistance every time you took a step. Oh, how would she ever choose. Maybe settle for both?
