They Can Smell Fear Just By Looking At Ya, So Keep Quiet

Winter might have fallen on Boreas but the weather in the west was still nice and warm. After the long journey through desert Pyralis was enjoying a nice swim in the ocean as she made her way toward an island that had caught her attention. The silhouette was rough and strange and she just had to know what the terrain was like. Maybe there were some tasty prey animals. The ocean was cooperating, its waves were gently rocking back and forth. They rolled over her and cooled her searing pelt. She was the wrong color for that open desert nonsense.

Climbing up onto the rocky shore she shook out her coat before jumping backwards as something scampered past her paws. Her ears flicked forward. Now what was… ooooo a lizard! Her tail wagged back and forth lightly as she cocked her head to the side. She eyed the creature, limbs coiling, only to spring forward catching both the lizard and a mouth full of dirt. Ha! Worth it. If anyone asked she'd just say the dirt added flavor. Pyralis stood up as she crunched away on the lizard, deciding which way she wanted to go next.
