Arpeggio had decided to wander out of Abaven lands for a few days. She hadn't done a whole lot of exploring just for the pleasure of it, so she had decided to take the time on her way to the battlefield to just wander. Take in the sights, play tourist for a while. She had spent so much of her mental energy since she had gotten here on the Abraxas that she hadn't gotten to know these lands, or who she really was. She had come to adulthood some months before, but she had never taken the time to get to know Adult Arpeggio. Who would she be, in this fully grown body and these lands her mother had lived in? How would those who weren't Abraxas and weren't Destruction come to know her as? A healer? A fighter? The kind, caring side that Harmony had always nurtured, or the fiery, protective side that her recent life had woken in her? Both? Something new? She didn't know. She had yet to spend a great deal of time with anyone who wasn't associated directly with Abaven. Maybe she needed to remedy that, to learn who she would really be. ""

He was taking a day to relax, one that he much needed. He had traveled away from his den, into a territory near it. He had flopped down and for a while was just lazy in the sun. Letting his head clear so he could gather his thoughts. He had a lot going on lately and he had to finalize his pack plans. He needed to get moving and get his pack made, but today he needed to just step away from it for a moment and come back to it with a clear and relaxed mind. It had been a while that he had actually taken a lazy day, a day for himself and not for his plans. He felt that he needed it and was sure it would help him stay on the right track. Stretching himself out for a moment before letting a heavy sigh leave his dark lips. Eyes closed as the dark furred male basked in the sun. He would get up to hunt soon, hoping to catch a decent meal for tonight. He wasn't expecting any company, nor did he realize another was currently moving through the territory. A few more moments passed by before the large male pulled himself up with a large yawn. His eyes looking around him just to see if any prey had moved in while he relaxed here. "Speech" 'Think'

Trotting along through the long grass going golden with the heat of summer, Arpeggio wasn't particularly anticipating coming across anyone. She was short, and the tips of her ears didn't even come close to the tops of the grass let alone her eyes so she couldn't see what was ahead of her. It didn't bother her, though, because she was on something of an adventure so the lack of foresight simply added to the excitement. Or at least, it did up until the point that she burst out of the grass into an unexpected little clearing where the grass had been pressed beneath a body, a body that was currently towering over her with its maw gaping open and teeth bared. She skidded to a stop with her nose a bare inch from the huge black beast's chest, and leaped back like a startled cat. Her downy-soft fur fluffed out from her slim form in a similarly cat-like manner, and she made a soft strangled yowl that caught deep in her throat and came out more like a surprised cough. ""
