Exotic lands, exotic treasures

He hadn’t been too sure how far he would go until he had hit the sea. He had kept himself pointed south, sure of himself that he would get to the beach and that would be it, but he had been wrong. He had found a land bridge leading to a whole new set of lands that he didn’t even know exsisted and though he didn’t think he would be comfortable living in these more dry and warm areas, they were stunning in looks. Unique just like every land he had crossed through so far. They were also a bit more on the exotic side of things, with plants and animals he had never seen before. He didn’t even have the knowledge that there was a pack thriving in these lands until he neared the border with the castle in the near distance.
Out of pure respect he backed himself away from the border, but his eyes stared at what he could see of the castle. What was the structure and what purpose had it once served. What did it serve to this pack? It made him curious, wondering what kind of wolves thrived in these parts and wondering if he may have another oppurtunity to create an alliance with another. The more alliances he had the more he felt his pack would be safe from danger. He had been lucky enough to bring his satchel full of things Incase he would have an oppurtunity to trade, but now it looked like he may have something bigger.
He let out a deep howl, calling for the alpha of the pack, hoping to talk peace and trading agreements to help his pack remain safe from harm. He didn’t know if it would be successful, but he had to try.

Malleus was quick to answer the call at the border. While it was his prerogative to take his time, the titan made a point to be prompt in such matters. Upon being on the receiving end of tardiness he'd noticed he always formed a poor opinion of whoever was late. There was something about it that just reeked of weakness so he strove to be prompt in all matters. Rounding the end of a broken down piece of wall brought the caller into view. He was a tall man, similar in size to many of the Abraxas, but lacked the characteristic markings to mark him as one. A mortal most likely, but there wasn't much time for further assessment as Malleus' large stride quickly ate up the distance between them. You stand on the border of The Risen Empire, he boomed as he approached. "What is your business here?" His pace was languid, his demeanor authoritative and his expression serious. This was business and he would treat it as such until proven otherwise. |
