"Ellie speech" & 'Ellie thoughts'

She had been doing a little traveling here and there since arriving in Boras. She was preparing for winter and looking for the most decent spot she could to settle for the winter. She had mostly stayed within the west since it seemed a lot warmer. She had ventured to the south, but when the packs began popping up she quickly moved out to avoid confrontation. She had finally settled back in the west in a territory called Traveler's Lake. It had seemed like a decent place to settle and she hoped it would be good enough to last her over the winter.

She had dug out a nice roomy den and began the task of recovering pelts from small animals she hunted to make a bed within her den. She tried her best to stock up on some meat, drying out thin chunks of meat that she could go to if she couldn't hunt. She hadn't met many faces while here so far, but she still felt some odd connection with Boras that made her want to stay.

Today she was sitting by the waters edge watching the geese and the birds migrate through the sky. Winter would be here soon and she was preparing herself for another lonely season.

Zell escaped from the tension of Lirim for the day. There were too many emotions swimming around in the air, and he preferred to avoid it so as not to add to his already constant soured mood. He didn't go far though. He chose to go to one of the closer lands, just far enough to have his own personal alone time and close enough to get to the pack in case something happened. Though he wasn't too concerned about the latter. Lirim was quiet. Nothing ever really happened there, which was good he supposed. But he couldn't lie to himself, he did miss having some action. He was the only real fighter in the pack, but his skills were practically unneeded and hadn't been for a long time.

He sighed as he slowly moved along. The world around him was quiet. Tranquil. It left him feeling like he could breath and think in peace. Not that he couldn't in Lirim, but the tension sometimes felt thick enough that it could be cut with a butter knife. He wasn't sure what to do anymore. He had stopped thinking about Faite after so long of not seeing her. He wanted to move on...he just didn't know how.

The breeze tugged at his fur, and with it came a scent. Ears perked slightly as he lifted his head. That scent was vaguely familiar...but he couldn't quite remember who it belonged to. It wasn't a pack wolf, he knew that much. He decided that maybe he was in the mood for some company...or maybe he figured having some company right now would do some good. So he followed the scent until he spotted her. Well, it was someone he recognized. Sort of. He had met her once before, and it seemed she decided to stick around. He approached her as he uttered a low bark to announce his presence. "Decided to stick around?" He stopped a few feet from her as he dipped his head in greeting.
