She could not travel this far north in the southern region of Boreas and just skip by the Orchard. It was one of her favorite places to visit, as the healer in her was simply overjoyed by the sight of all the different fruit trees within. Most were completely barren of any leaves during this season, but that was precisely the reason she decided to take a stroll through the Orchard while the world was dusted in snow.
When she'd been in the Mountains, the storm seemed to pick up though she had no idea it would follow her even as she left them. She wasn't sure how much time she would have to test the health of the trees, but she refused to leave without at least checking on her favorites, the ones that smelled strongly of citrus. She neared an apple tree when another strong gust came through and invaded her fur, she had to pause her walk as her light form struggled against the strength of the wind.
Her eyes squinted as they struggled to keep the dense snow out of them, blue lashes trying their best to keep those silver orbs safe. She looked around and noticed a little gardening hut, half-decayed with wooden boards missing in its wall. It would have to do, regardless. The storm wasn't going to allow her to continue her journey home, and she still had work to do in the Orchard.
She slipped through the broken door of the hut and escaped the majority of the wind in a corner where the most boards seemed still intact. She had to share the space with a few shovels and rakes, but she didn't mind. She did her best not to disturb any of the metal items within, hating the sound of them moving at all...
She sat, shivering slightly as her short fur fought the cold. The thick of her tail found it's way to curl over her dainty paws and keep them a bit warmer, but she couldn't wait for the winter season to be over. Perhaps she should have waited before venturing this far from Kesali...
