Typhoon was not used to a pack setting. He was not used to strangers. Infact, he wasnt really used to being able to just do anything. Before this whole thing happened his father was always with him, and now? Well, not everything was different. Not that he was missing him, of course. Typhoon didnt care that his father just...abandoned him to this woman he had never met, not matter how nice she seemed. Not at all, nope. So thats what made all this even more strange. He had this big place he could do anything in, a woman who ran it, and a big pile of meat he could always take things from.

It was like heaven.

Except, maybe, for the strangers. He wasn't good at dealing with strangers. He didn't like to socialize, which is why up until this point he tried not to show his face much. But today, he was bored. Which is exactly why he was moving through the snake grass with a scowl on his face, looking for something to do that wouldn't be too bothersome.

Corvus was slowly, very slowly, growing less discontent with the way things in Abaven were going. He felt more at ease with the new leadership after getting to know Shaye, and Rhyme didn't seem too bad after all. At least they were getting some fight training, which was a far cry from what he remembered from when he was younger. He still wanted to find a way to seek out more training, whether from Acere or someone outside of the pack. Maybe he and Peggy could come up with an idea somehow..

He was lost in his thoughts as he padded lazily through the plains. He was sick of winter already, despite how relatively mild this season was it was in Abaven's lands compared to the rest of the world (or at least that that was what he'd been told, by his parents who'd seen much more of the world than he had). Not sure what he'd do with the rest of the day, he wasn't terribly concerned with getting much done, especially now that midday had long since passed.

The scent of a stranger immediately caught his interest. Another new member in Abaven? Damn, there always seemed to be someone new around lately. Curious, he followed the young male's scent, pausing when he came within earshot of the kid. He really was a kid, too, not so small that he couldn't wander around on his own but definitely much younger than he was. Corvus frowned slightly, though his expression was curious. "You must be new," he shot off conversationally, taking a few strides closer to get a better look at the stranger.
