She stretched her long form, waking up her muscles from her position of sleep. She had done a little over sleeping this morning and it was time for her to finally get up and get herself going. She had been taking it a little easier lately since she had found a nice old badger hole. It was long abandoned and all she had to do was make it bigger. It was a comfy new den and would hold her over the rest of the winter. This territory had lots of prey trails and she was happy with simply settling here for now. Crawling out of her new den she moved right into about a foot deep of snow. It had snowed overnight, adding to the amount of snow from yesterday. The snow and the cold didn't bother her much and she didn't mind how deep it was either.

Moving away from her den the female began to trail through the woods, the amount of snow on the ground getting less the further under the trees she went. Blue eyes scanned the ground, looking for trails and prey sign. Not that she needed to hunt right now, but she wanted to keep an eye on the movements of prey to ensure she wouldn't have to go lower to have a good food supply. She found one of the trees in the woods down and jumped up to casually walk across the down tree, just keeping herself moving.
