Gotta Be Somebody
Noemí paused, ears perking as she heard something stalking through the grasses. She breathed in -- smelled like prey. Licking her lips she began to lower her body to the earth, carefully moving paw over paw as she crept closer to the direction the noise came from. If she was lucky maybe she’d walk away with a meal out of this… though if something else was already hunting the thing she smelled that could be a problem...
Clementine happily trotted through the tall grass with a chipper smile. Her den wasn't far from her exact location. She had found a nice tangling of roots beneath a large tree in the weeping woods. It overlooked a stream and had such a magical air about it. Clem did look in the plains for a den sight but the barren land didn't hold much promise. But, it was a great place to practice skills. The plains offered a great clearing for spars, various plants of herb picking, and plenty of small prey for the food store. Branch was very smart for picking the two regions for their pack. A bountiful forest and a lovely stretch of grass was a great combo. As the obsidian speckled girl moved her way through the grass two scents filled her black and pink nose. One was a pack member and the other prey. Suddenly her paws stopped and silver eyes moved to spot whoever it may be. The babe perked up as her gaze fell upon a young auburn Wolf seemingly on the hunt for the prey she smelt. Clem did not want to disturb the hunt therefore she remained still while lowering her body to the earth. It was her goal to meld into the grass to give her pack mate time to move. If the younger Wolf wasn't able to claim the prey she would step in and help.
