All too quickly his children's childhood was coming to an end. Soon the seasons would change and they would take their place in the pack as full members. It was much too soon for his liking. How could that time be upon them already when just yesterday they were blind and deaf little bundles huddled at their mother's side? Malleus still had a great deal to teach them and their days of learning were far from over, but soon enough they'd need to give up their games and focus on the future. That transition was both necessary and exciting, and sad. He wanted to enjoy their childhood while it lasted and it was for that reason that he was making a point to spend some one on one time with each of his kids. Today he was on the lookout for Eligos and the castle seemed like a good place to start. The boy was shaping up to be the largest of Malleus' first litter and he possessed a calm, stoic personality that his father found particularly promising. Eligos handled his wild brothers' shenanigans well and Malleus thought that if he honed those patient skills one day his son might make a good leader. |
