Already her babies were getting so big, their eyes had opened not long ago but she could tell it was time for them to see the outside world. She would be the first awake that early morning, vibrant violet eyes would flutter open as she became aware of her family around her. She would smile as her gaze would find to two fuzzy bundles at her side, while Alpine was huddled closely behind her. It was to be a special morning, she'd been waiting for this day for quite some time now. She would revisit her favorite shady beach spot for the first time since she went into labor.
She would lean down to nuzzle the sleeping forms of Faun and Coal, they would stir slightly taking in deep breaths as the first moments of wakefulness would begin to take them. She would coo gently, her form repositioning slightly. Indirectly disturbing her mate, and hopefully waking him as well.

The snow cooated Father had been deep in slumber when the gentle coos of his mate would wake him. His paws would flutter against the wind in the last stages of forgotten dreams before his eyes would open and settle upon the familier form of his love. A smile would grace his lips as he watched her gently nuzzle the forms of their sleeping young. He could feel it then, the slight buzz of excitement that began in his stomach, where they old enough? Was it time to show them some of the world?

He would lift himself off the soft earth of their cave and look down at the still tiny forms of their children. As it always did when he took in the sight of Twig, Faun and Coal his heart would stammer and bulge against his chest almost painfully with the astonishing love he felt for this family he had helped create. After rising he move over to his Wife's side and gently nudge her crown. Today they would show their children the world, tomorrow he would find news of the outside world.

He would laugh softly and nuzzle the form of Faun, ?Come on kids? he cooed also to them ?Today we have a treat for you!?

The young pup was woken to the sounds of his mothers cooing. His own paws would flop in the air and one eye would peek open as his mother bent over Faun. A soft grin would take up the pups face as he allowed his tonuge to fall from the side of his mouth and his paws to twitch slightly where they hung. The boy was deciding to play dead, uncertain what chores where about to be asked of the newly growing young. It wasn't until his dad also rose and had a few words of his own to speak that Solor would open both his eyes. Alpine was bent over Faun and Solor would look up to Twig. ?A treat? he would ask, bounding to his paws. ?what treat?? he would wonder as his tiny form found balance on his paws and hoped and jumped against Twig's coat. He would go under her standing form, his head touching her belly as he giggled and pawed at her chest. He was already certain that today would be exciting!

As she moved Alpine would stir, she could feel his gaze upon her features, nuzzling the bundles at her side. Faun would mumble incoherently as she placed her nose to the tiny girl's belly. Alpine would bring himself to all fours as he gently swooped in to nuzzle their daughter with her. He would also try and wake them, and it seemed his mind was exactly where hers was. It was time for them to see the outside. Time to introduce them to their island paradise. She would turn to her son as he nosed up at her, excitement evident in his tiny form. As faun brought herself to her feet Twig too would finally rise, Coal would run right beneath her as she went. She wouldn't help the giggle that had formed in her throat at his joyful antics. "Outside, Solor, we're going to go outside." and with a little explanation she would lead them out of the cramped den. "Just stay close to us you two, we're going to go straight to the beach. We don't want to loose you between here and there, okay?" She would nuzzle each as they played by her feet, her eyes turning to Alpine to let him lead the family to the water.

Alpine could only laugh at the excitement Solor showed, prancing and dancing about the place after Alpine's words. It would take a moment for everyone to rise before they where all ready to go see the outside world. Alpine would go ahead, giving a kiss to Twig's cheek as he passed her and made his way to the den's exit. They would slip out into the warm sun of Spring and he would let out a content sigh as he shook out his coat to the feel of its warmth. The family would be marching slowly towards the beach now, and well the walk was a short one Solar at lease was a mission to keep in sights. He wanted to bound about and play and chase any shadow or moving creature.

Eventually they would find themselves at the waters edge and Alpine would seat himself on the soft sand and wait for Twig to join them. ?Dont go out to far kids, and I warn you, the water is salty!? he said with a laugh, knowing they would find that out for themselves soon enough. The content dad would turn to Twig with a smile, and know it was she who had given him this life, who had made everything perfect.

Solor was only to excited to learn they where going out! and he would giggle and rub his head against his mothers stomach as he passed under. He had to wait a moment for Faun to rise, for Alpine to get ready and to give his mother a kiss ?Yuck!? he stated and with a giggle pilled out of the den after his father. They would start to walk and the feel of sand beneath his paws would have him giggling again. It swayed asa he moved and there was nothing firm about it! It took a while before he could walk properly against its surface, but the moment he had that mastered he would take to running and bouncing and chasing shadows. His dad he noticed was keeping a close eye on him and called him back whenever he ran to far.

They would be by the waters side soon and he ran straight passed where his father sat. a few more words of caution where spoken and ignored as he dashed into the water with his mouth wide open. He got ab out three steps in before he ran shrieking out again. ?It's cold and yucky!!? he cried, dabblig at his toungue with his forepaw. He would then roll on the sand until he was coated from head to foot, a wet sand monstor. ?Roooar? he cried, swaying and trying to look scary as he procceded to cahse down Faun.

Easily she would follow Alpine out of the den, though they would shoot out the gate both children slowed down considerably as their senses became alight with all the world at once. Twig couldn't keep the smile off her face as their wonder would just fuel her love for them one hundred times over. Solor and Faun both would sway down the trail, and she would correct them every time with little nudges to stay in line. As they reached the sandy shore she would allow them to go about exploring, she could more easily keep her eyes on them out here. Alpine would call a warning, but she had to doubt that either pup would heed it.
Quietly she would settle next to her mate, vibrant violet gaze watching their children as they raced to the water's edge. Her gaze would flicker towards the pale man's form, catching him looking at her. The corners of her mouth would pull back further as she turned to him slightly, still able to see Faun run quickly away from Solor's paws. He was covered in sand. "Did you ever imagine that life could be this nice?" She would find herself leaning into his shoulder, the warmth of their pelts would mingle as their fur intertwined.
