Bees play mean

Spring was the season of life, and she woke up to the spring day with excitement in her heart. She went to her Alpha and told him she might be gone for some days - Branch understood, he wholeheartedly agreed to her idea of starting a healer's garden, and knew that she had a lot of seeds yet to collect. She carried her bag with her, as well as an odd assortment of tools. She wanted to steal more honey, now that the bees would be out collecting again she should be able to find some good samples. She especially wanted manuka honey, to get the chance to test out its herbal qualities.

Intending to be away for some time, she gave her den a fond last look, and began the journey South, which she had always found a better place for gathering. It seasons, from what she had experienced so far, often seemed milder.

It was a decent journey from her pack lands to the sandbar, but the journey was mostly uneventful. It was easier going now that the snow had melted, and eventually she made her destination. After crossing to Auster, she made the decision to head towards Lazuli falls. She remembered meeting a sweet wolf called Serene there, and had helped her gather herbs for her own garden. Now that Riva had a stable place to grow one, she was going to do the same - but Serene had given her the idea, and likely had a bit of experience behind her now.

Once she arrived, she did not catch any scent of the girl, but she did find a bees hive. She kept back, the nest was hanging precariously from its tree, perhaps the spring melt had knocked it lose and the bees were yet to fix it. Regardless, it made it an easy target. She would subdue the bees, knock it down, and collect to her hearts delight. Settling it a quiet place out of view, Riva began to prepare what she needed.
