A Sudden Squall [Eurus]

Within seconds the wind roared through the terra at forty miles an hour leaving Aureus shivering as the temperature dropped violently. Overhead, black clouds, blacker than night, scudded over treetops; white, pink, and even bluish lighting ripped through the swirling clouds to strike below. A brilliant bolt struck a tree, the flash temporarily blinding Aureus as Kali steered him beneath a large oak tree. There was limited shelter and he wasn't quite sure where to go. "Stay here! I'll find us a used den to take shelter in." In a flash the cat was gone, disappearing into the black. He'd heard a pack of wolves used to occupy these lands but he was doubtful they'd find a den to shelter in.

Another flash illuminated the sky, the dark clouds hanging low. He pressed his body agains the tree trunk. Now that he was well into his first year he was anxious to go north and explore but if he didn't know any better he'd say Lord Abraxas wasn't pleased with his decision. Aureus hoped Kali would find them shelter soon.
