luminescence

Desdemona wandered farther at night during the day. the weather and temperature aside, she was quite eager to see all that this land had to offer her. only a handful of wolves met so far, she kept close to Risen just in case. if she wasn't there, she a bit north but still in the southern area. the woman could say she much preferred the cool waters and the tropical climates over anything else. it was how she was raised, and what she was raised in. call it homesickness if you want, she wasn't going to turn tail and run back 'home' simply because she was missing it.

she was pretty sure she'd be beaten to death anyway, for abandoning her matched partner.

ah well. there wasn't anything to be done about that. trailing after the woman was the blue-green algae as she walked quietly in the water. she planned to take a dip, to wash herself off but was also marveling to herself about the luminescent glow. dawn hued eyes twisted to look behind, each step shooting up more lights. it was like the northern lights, but ground-bound. and none of the awful snow. a bonus. chuckling, she'd sweep her tail over the water to bring up more. unaware if she was being watched, she'd play in the water more.

bouncing. flopping. moving. patting. all those motions and more. with no one watching, she was a naive child again.
