They arrived safely at the Ashen border, and he waited until Zee crossed over, before coming to a stop himself, knowing she would pause the moment she realised. He needed to head off any complaints immediately. “Its injured, it’ll be easy for me to track it. Besides, I'm not leaving all our hard work out there’ he explained, knowing she would understand he meant the feathers. He didn’t mention how he was going to beat it to a bloody pulp and rip out its heart for hurting her, for giving him such a fright. For a moment, as it had landed on top of her, he had thought she was a goner. That fear stuck with him, even now, and he knew the only way to banish it was to rend the tiger to pulp. ‘Get checked out by Luce, just in case” he told her, hoping something to do would keep her from following him. He had already inspected her for injury, but wanted the healer to double check, to ensure he hadn’t missed anything. "Speech"

Zee was still huffing quietly with the exertion, eyes wide as she looked in the direction they'd been attacked. Sirius was speaking now, and her ear twitched in his direction. "You are crazy." Her head whirled then to face him, staring him dead in the eyes with the hardest gaze she could manage. "Sirius I will not let you go face down a tiger alone. I am coming, or you are staying. There is no other option for you." She let that sink in, and then - knowing he'd make the choice to return for at least the feathers - started to head that direction. If he was so adamant of forcing her to stay in Ashen, he'd have to forcibly drag her back to the den and boulder up the door so she could not follow. "Lets go get this over with." Zee said firmly, trying to hide her fear and shaking paws as she headed back towards the forest. Her head was held high and proud, as if she could force confidence into herself with her posturing. A pause, and she let out a quiet exhale. "I will, of course... let you go first." "Speech"

Zee called him crazy and he let out a soft groan, knowing she was going to protest no matter what he did. He needed to keep her safe, but he also needed to fetch those feathers. The whole point of leading her back here was so that she would be safe, so he could take on the tiger and fetch the feathers without her. Why else did she think he had left? “I've barely trained you” he growled. She was growing as a warrior, but she was not there yet. Before he could make any more attempts to convince her, she already began to head back towards the forest. He snarled angrily under his breath, before falling into a long stride to catch up with her. He walked beside her for a moment, chewing over angry words in his head, and for once showing enough restraint not to say them outloud. When she paused, he glanced over at her, and let out a soft sigh, giving his head a shake. He moved forward, going ahead of her as they made there way back to the scene. He made no further complaints, through he certainly desired to. Instead, he switched to hunting mode, and kept his silence. He tracked the tiger part way back to their starting point, and heard the sound of its laboured breathing, and knew it must be seeing to its injured tendon. He signalled Zee to move further to the right, to get up behind him. She could harry him again like she did last time. He took a breath, and then let loose a bellowing cry, teeth bared, as he charged at the tiger. "Speech"

Zee was pleased that Sirius held his tongue on any further complaints, following her without too much prodding. To be honest, Zee did not think for a second that it'd be that easy. It was curious how little effort it took to sway him to allow her to accompany him to go battle a tiger, of all things. She allowed him to step forward, and then trailed behind him quietly. Her breaths came in short brisk bursts, the anxiety of the hunt getting to her in body and mind. This was dangerous to be sure, but it was also exhilarating. Suddenly Sirius stopped her, then motioned a command. Her ears perked, taking in the sound of labored breathing that he'd caught onto first. She ducked low in the underbrush and made her way around, glancing back to Sirius just in time to catch the beginning of his charge. At his roar the she-wolf picked up her pace, now sprinting a semi-circle to come back into the fight at the cat's rear. The cat was holding a defensive position - prepared to push back against Sirius' charge - and Zee knew it'd be miles easier if she could take it's attention. She grabbed for the first thing she saw - it's tail. She tugged hard and the cat whirled to pounce upon her. It made it only as far as it's front paws lifting in the air towards her before Sirius' heavy form collided with it. Zee stepped back, a rush of adrenaline hitting her hard and she blinked it away. Sirius' health did not move far from her mind, and once more she began to look for an opening to harass the cat. "Speech"

Zee was perhaps just starting to learn how much seer would do for her. He might be possessive and more then a little nuts, but her happiness mattered to him. Even as he was bearing his teeth and scaring away anyone who so much as battered an eye at his girl. If she demanded, point blank, to come with him on this venture, he wouldn't make her stay. Besides, knowing zee she would sneak after him. It was better if he knew where she was.

Which lead the two if them to the cat, and Sirius charging the creature. His below drew its attention, and as he ran the titan opened his maw and displayed a row of fearsome teeth.

The cat should have been smarter then turning as something attacked it from behind, but it was already on edge and afraid. It turned to pounce zee, and Sirius collided heavily with the creature. He drive it to the ground with the force of his momentum, but he knew in size that was his only advantage gone. He wouldn't get a running start again.

He went for its injured leg again with a swipe of his paw, and beard it bellow in anger and frustration. Sirius returned its cry with a howl, all teeth as he grinned at the cat.

Sirius' heavy form hit the cat hard and fast, and Zee skittered out of the way of it as it was towed to the ground. The direwolf wasn't done yet, he went for the injured leg and the cat screamed it's response. Still upon the ground - with Sirius atop it and slashing at it's rear leg - the cat had it's back arched towards him as it struggled to regain it's standing position. Attention was focused only upon the wolf who drove it down, leaving perfect room for Zee to come in. She dipped forward lips pulled back in a snarl and snapped jaws at it's neck. Her teeth sunk in just below the cat's jaw, and although she could not bite with enough force to deliver a killing blow she could hold it's head steady. At the angle she was at, the cat could not turn to bite her in retaliation unless it wanted to tear it's own throat. "Speech"

He felt the warmth of zee near him, and felt a momentary panic blossom in his heart. He didnt like her so near the tiger, but there was little he could do about it now. He felt its head wrench to the side and was able to free himself enough see what was happening. He found zee holding it by the throat, and understood her bravery.

Seer didnt waste any time, turning over the cat as quickly as he was able well keeping his weight on it. Its attempt to buck him where muted well zee held it by the throat. He got around and struck like a viper, digging his own fangs in at the other side, and tearing it jugular.

Sirius came around the side of the tiger while Zee did her best to hold it still, his oversized fangs tearing a gash through the tiger's throat that Zee's tiny in comparison jaws could never achieve. A gush of blood squirted out and the small wolf's ears pinned, her eyes shutting tight against the spray. She lifted a paw to place it upon the cat's shoulder, pressing her weight upon it before pulling her own jaws through the flesh to tear a much less impressive hole within it's neck. The cat squirmed and bucked and then all movement stopped, it's eyes becoming pale and lifeless as it's lifeblood drained. Zee stepped back then, staring down at the corpse. "Good job." She told him, shaking her head to rid herself of some of the crimson that had wet her face. "Get the feathers and lets go, there are too many cats around. I don't fancy another fight." "Speech"
