Emerald eyes watched the dunes quietly as he walked onward. Where he was going, the brute hadn't the slightest clue. The worlds he had come across were really new to him, and being a nomad with no real home to go to; this, despite the changing of temperatures, did seem like home for a small period of time as he was just passing through. But, he made sure to stay clear of any pack territories, not wishing to cause any trouble to them if he could help it. His right leg was definitely becoming a nuisance more than help as it dangled as he walked, making his walking slow and rather tedious at times. Sometimes, the upper part of the leg would go numb to a degree as he stopped and sighed.

He had been hearing about the changes to the lands from other wolves, and he had to admit it was definitely different than his old home. Where rain and sometimes the cold were more noticeable than anything else. The sun beat down upon his frame. Despite the heat that radiated off of it, at least it was starting to go down. His fluffy coat was so used to the cold that going into some portions of the desert had to be the stupidest decision he had ever done, next to fighting off a wolf who seemed more experienced than he; and he had the broken, unfix-able limb to prove it, wondering if he'd come across anyone else here.

It was not the first, and it would not be the last time he made his way across the dunes just North of the Ashen Empire. The barren landscape was becoming familiar to him, and no longer did he weary on losing his way, or question what he would do if he found himself stumbling across its back, thirsty and lost. He had since learned where to find small sources of water, and how to hunt the crafty life that made their home here.

It was seldom he found others, but Marshall, the vulture that sailed the warm winds above him let off a soft, keening cry. A familiar noise in the harsh desert, but one Sirius knew to listen for. He followed the path Marshall cut forward, and walked until he found the small frame of a stranger. The white markings made it difficult to look to closely, for the way the late afternoon sun reflected on his pale coat.

It took a moment for the warrior to realise the stranger limped, badly, across the grainy sand floor. The titan eyed him for a moment, cutting a figure of darkness in the backdrop of the tan desert world, and considered what he might do to a stranger out here in the wilderness. He thought of claiming Gero for his pack, but knew that the Ashen Empire was already swelling with members. Perhaps Deathbelle would noy be happy if he added another hungry mouth to the pile.

Gero walked on for what felt like a while, but he had been really too focused on his thoughts to really notice a lot around him. He had been separated from his sister, and he prayed to the gods that she would be alright and they would be reunited soon. It at least seemed the odds were in his favor when he saw Soraya run, fighting off the man for as long as he could as they at least had scars to remember each other by.

His ears flicked however when the sounds of a vulture happened to catch his attention as he limped. And, after a little bit of time, a stranger would happen to catch his emerald gaze. They seemed much taller than he was, and the last thing the alabaster brute needed at this time was another fight. It had at least been a month since his injury, but any fight that he could avoid he would accept as he stopped in his tracks; hoping that that would alert the stranger that they had been spotted. There wasn't any signs of a pack as far as he could tell, making sure to stay away from those lands the best he could; but life always seemed to throw him a curve-ball whenever it could as he waited on the stranger to present themselves as he waited calmly and patiently.

It's a bunch of vultures!

The vulture that passed Gero was not the only one in the area. As the sun went down, more and more gathered, some making circles in the sky while others settles and waited, as if begging the limping wolf to give up on his endeavors. While it seemed that there were only a few at first, by the time the sun sets, one will not be able to look in any direction without seeing at least five or ten of the birds... sitting... waiting.

It didn’t take long for the white wolf to spot the TItan, clearly evident in his body language as he stopped all movement, and looked warily at the Warlord. Seeing no reason to avoid contact, Sirius continued forward, bringing himself closer to the white wolf, whos coat glinted easily in the sunlight.

Before he had taken five steps, the heavy sound of many wing beats thundered through the air. He looked upwards in time to see Marshal plummeting from the sky, to land heavily on his masters back. His chosen pet ruffled its feathers and looked uneasily from Sirius, to the sky. It hardly filled Sirius with confidence.

Just about feeling as through the apocalypse was nye, the Warlord moved forward again, ignoring the many eyes upon him as the congregation of vultures continued to grow. He knew that they gathered and circled dying creatures, waiting for their meal, but there was simply too many of them for this. “Do you wish to die?” Sirius asked the white wolf as he finally finished his approach, looking to the small, green eyed man with seriousness in his own blue orbs. The question might come off as threatening, but it was far from it. It seemed to Sirius that the vultures gathered, waiting for the injured man to fail. Sirius would protect him, possibly, but there would be a price. He waited, giving the man a moment to process his question and decide what his life was worth.

The vultures were definitely not what the alabaster brute was expecting right off the bat. He had remembered seeing one, but seeing the amount that had begun to form around him and the giant male that had come towards him, who know what they were going to expect. This was far from anything the male had to face, and he was thrown into what could be called 'the lion's den'. He had a sister to find after the situation that caused him to lose her, but he had hope he would find her here. She was a strong child, he had faith she would be around. Now, he had to make it through another challenge.

'Do you wish to die?' Was the question that the man asked him. Despite the seriousness within his tone and the situation that began to escalate the more he stayed quiet and still, he had to answer him right away as Gero shook his crown. There was no way he was dying to a bunch of vultures, he'd been through way worse scrapes than this before. "No, Sir, I do not," he spoke honestly, showing the same amount of seriousness within his voice as well. He wasn't afraid to pull his own weight and fight as he kept a watchful eye on both the vultures and the stranger in front of him. The brute stood firm and kept himself calm as the vultures called and circled them continuously. This would surely get worse if they were not careful, but he would help this man get out of this predicament as well as best he could with the three legs he had left.

The battle hardened warlord gave a nod, pleased with the answer, even if he would not show it. The vultures out numbered them greatly, many winging silently in the air above them, others finding purchase in natural formations or growth around them. It was clear to Sirius that they, or at least, the white wolf, was the center of their attention.

"Very well then." He told the stranger. He woukd have to get his name, so he could know who it was who owed him a life debt. "I will get you out alive, and you will owe me." The titan didnt phrase it as a question. He was accustomed to throwing around his formidable strength and receiving no resistance. Well, other then that of the Klein, but he did not push his former masters.

Sirius moved forward, placing himself beside the smaller wolf, shielding him from sun and partial view with his superior height. "Move when I move." Sirius instructed, expecting a response from the birds the moment they tried to leave this eerie ring.
