The novelty of leaving the den was slowly wearing off and Desolate found himself utterly bored. The small pup still was too cowardly to stray too far from his family, and so instead he sat outside the den with his tailtip just touching the hardened dirt at the base of the entrance. Dual-toned gaze peered curiously at the world and he wiggled a little where he sat - wanting nothing more then to get up and explore - but his cowardice kept him from anywhere he could not touch his dirt home. Maybe if he waited long enough his mother or one of his siblings might come with him for an adventure, he thought he might feel less scared with someone to follow behind. "Speech"
