Time of Day: Early Morning – Grey-Dawn Those who arrived in the Opening, do not post in this thread. Newcomers only! Dawn. It was quiet, peaceful, autumnal birds chirping in the distance among the grasses of the Dancefloor. She stood by the sleeping bonfire, the warmth of sleeping coals heating her back as she sighed a hum of brief contentment. Such a rare feeling.
It was the second day of the Festival. In a few hours, the first Trade Fair would begin. But this moment was for welcoming any newcomers to the festival. She was groomed to a shimmering, iridescent gleam once more, fresh and clean, and well doused with her perfumes to block the scent of her heat from males. Lavender and Vanilla, this day. Her mane glistened under the soft, dove grey light of dawn, with strands braided here and there.
She tipped up her muzzle and sang a long, gentle howl, hoping not to wake any guests that wished to sleep in until the fair or fight announcements, but welcoming newcomers to arrive.

At first glance, Aurielle's coat is pure white.. Her fur has an iridescent quality (like moonstones) where the fur shimmers different colors under various angles of light: in this case, the colors shown by rainbow moonstones. Not one hair on her hide is a solid unnatural color, but, ya know, it's really hard to convey that in still art :P
Aurielle's English is heavily laden with an Irish, Swedish mixed accent.
Her family is allowed to crash all her threads, Private and Open.
As of Autumn Year 14, Aurielle glows with a bright blue-white bio-luminescence in her fur, and bears a marking over her left eye - see profile and reference.
she was feeling a bit better today, so she opted to go to this shin-ding.
her children would not stop pestering her to go with the larger Ashen group, but she hadn't wanted to leave the den yet. she was mostly hesitant due to their youthfulness, but couldn't exactly refuse them. Deathbelle had brought their cousins and she didn't want her kids to feel leftout. arriving a day late, she had patiently brought all three of her kids along. good thing they were so small, and even Gimli and Godbrand seemed to realize it was important to listen to Momma during their brief travel.
so there was hardly any problems. none that needed to be addressed anyway. "stay close, or with your family" Dutch said after giving them each a quick grooming to look presentable. Beryl was easy; she was an agreeable little girl. but Godbrand and Gimli... another matter entirely. she fixed her boys a hard stare before settling a few paces away from the larger group. watching as Godbrand went to approach the silver lady, she'd keep a close eye on them all. she hoped they wouldn't get into trouble but you never know. she'd be apologizing for all of them soon enough.

spotting immediately the singing lady, he'd race over to her. the first non-Klein wolf he'd met outside of Tree Trunk Sirius. she was a lot more attractive than him too. "Hi!" he barked at her, little tail wagging excitably. he was within sight of Dutch so he felt better about being a total nuisance to another person. bouncing around the woman's legs, he'd ponder where to knaw on her first. maybe her toes. they looked fun to bite. "I'm Godbrand!" he'd add in proudly, sticking his little chest out as if this was the best name ever. Ahlberg-Klein died on his lips easily. he was too little to even remotely remember all that jazz.
"Speak or not to speak?" Eir was awake earlier than no one, she had the habit of doing so to train or explore any land she could be on. The girl was strict with her day, never allowing herself to have any sort of play or doing what a normal teen would do. Her mind was more to something more essential for her life, she wanted to reach her so desired dream of becoming a warrior, one no one will forget. But for now, she was a mere apprentice, one who had a lot to learn. And in this fine morning, she was exploring another land, this one was a flat plain just like the one of Lirim. She could note there weren't any trees in all of its extension, maybe the climate wouldn't let larger vegetation to exists, that was what Eir inferred. The weather was something she was interested in, just like being a warrior, knowing the weather and any natural stuff were also a goal for her, though not as great as the warriors. But as she walked, she heard a howl, one of the gentle tones and out of curiosity, she decided to go and check. She wasn't afraid of anything, and her confident walk was a big proof of such. And in silence she spotted wolves ahead, a pup included. Calmly she approached, attempting to stop with some space between her and the others. She didn't say anything, she would just listen for now. "speak" |
She was in fact glued to her mother's side during the travel. It wasn't far from home, but the girl was nervous about being in new lands. She had to keep up with mom, but she desperately wanted to take in all the sights. She wanted to learn where they were going, but the pace wasn't allowing that. So she clung to the most familiar thing she could and that was Dutch's side. Her brother's were to fast paced and her mother was more easy to keep up with. Green eyes looked up to Dutch as she spoke, giving them soft commands that needed to be obeyed. This pup would have no problem fallowing them, in fact she was uncertain how to act around all of this new territory. Her green eyes would then fallow her brother Godbrand as he approached another wolf and she felt herself shrinking into her mother's leg as her green eyes took in the women. Silver fur, mane, and long teeth. |
The lioness heard mention of a festival and her curiosity was hard to ignore. It had been a while since she'd met anyone new, and while she was out of Boreas to visit the market she had a chance to explore and interact with new wolves all at the same time. It was rumored to be peaceful, and the pack hosting it had supposedly asked to keep things calm and non-violent. Would they even allow a lioness among their midst? She moved forward towards the one who looked like she was in charge, noticing the way others flocked to her for greetings. "Hello." Cannival started simply, ducking her head slightly to the other. "Would I be welcome to join the festivities?" She gave a small, warm smile to show she did not intend on causing a havoc among the participants. "Speech" "Thinking" "You." |
She answered Aurielle's call on the second day, a bit embarrassed to be arriving late. There was still much to learn, and she tried to spend all her spare time with Shaye or other members of Abaven. It had been difficult to extricate herself, but interpack relations were equally important. Right? Theo was just beginning to form her own ideas about leadership. Upon arrival, she spotted Valhalla's leader easily: she was a stunning, pearly female the likes of which Theory had never seen. She gulped a little awkwardly before greeting her. "Hello, I am Theory Cavaliere-Destruction, heir of Abaven." Mercifully, she didn't trip over her words. What did she do with all of that hair? Did it freeze in the winter if it got wet? The cool air was a chilly reminder that snow was just around the corner.

The first comers of the morning arrived, a mother who brought her children, one of whom bounded right up to the shimmering Spirit to greet her. Godbrand. It was an interesting name, certainly, but she grinned nonetheless as she lowered herself to the ground and the boy’s eyelevel, tail sweeping behind her on the grass as she greeted warmly, “Hello, Godbrand. It’s very nice to meet you. I’m Aurielle.”
Her eyes lifted toward the mother and she grinned welcomingly, her introduction having been given loudly enough for the small woman to hear as Aurielle rose to meet the next arrivals, nodding to those who didn’t approach directly.
She did pause for half a beat as a great black lioness approached. Having grown up with mountain lions around her since her young puphood, she was less likely to attack a lioness on sight, especially one who was clearly not aggressive.
The woman’s query was met with a warm smile of her own as she answered in clear tones that would be heard by everyone in gathered, “Of course. This is a neutral event that all are welcome to attend.”
Another form caught her eyes and she smiled warmly to the young wolf, a large yearling girl who introduced herself as the Heir to Abaven. One of Shaye’s? She grinned warmly as she said, “Valhalla welcomes Abaven’s wolves. It’s a great pleasure to meet you, Theory. I am Aurielle Adravendi.”
