Hopeful beginnings

Young paws walked through the little willow woods that belonged to Lirim, the day was sunny, with clouds all over the sky. The air though was cool, chilling some could say, and for the little warrior it was indicative of the upcoming winter. She was a big fan of the weather, she was interested in that. Along with being warriors of course. And in this fine afternoon, she was up to explore her new home, she was determined to familiarize herself with the territory, its features and all that needed to be known now that she was going to live here. And as she marched, she paid extreme attention to what she was finding. She could see willow trees dancing with the cool winds of autumn, their long and falling feet could almost touch the green floor of grass and some moss. As she walked she was monitoring the skies, just to attempt to see the weather's mood. For now, it seemed nothing out of normal would come, but she still had to pay attention. "Can you see me?" |

she heard Papa had accepted another young wolf into Lirim, and Siobhan was hell-bent on finding her. aside from Sandor, the girl had nobody but her family to play with. everyone was off doing their own thing, and all she wanted to do was play. she wanted to be involved. after spotting the orange-colored head of the stranger, Siobhan crouched low to the ground and tried to sneak after her. her little tail was wagging excitably; it was a wonder the novice tracker hadn't been spotted by the yearling yet. but fate would be on her side! with a giant, loud whooping noise, she pounced at last. aiming for the yearling's hind legs, she tried to grasp them with her own paws as she landed. though not a warrior or a fighter, Siobhan wanted to learn to hunt. she wanted to provide for Lirim best she could until she was free to leave their territory. alone. without Papa or Mama or anyone else to hold her proverbial hand. "surprise!" she cried in joy, twisting at the last minute to land on her back with her paws in the air. flailing like the child she was, her head would tilt against the grass and look up at the new-Lirim wolf. she was a bit odd-looking, with that bright orange skull but the black seemed to have contrasted it nicely. |

She kept with her marching, with security in her steps, her eyes were serene, hiding anything that could be seen as weakness. And for the young Eir, weakness was something she wasn't going to show, to anyone. She was raised to be strong, to be the warrior she so wanted to be, and feelings for her would stand on her way to success. But maybe she could be wrong, she maybe was not aware of the advantages they could bring, but for now, she was firm with the idea that her parents imprinted on her during her pup days. And as she kept exploring, a pond of medium size came to view, she could smell it. But before she could go there, she could feel something or someone pound against her. And when she looked back, she could see a pup with their paws on her own, an eyebrow rose as she watched in silence. She wasn't going to do anything, she wasn't the typical playful youth, she never was allowed to do so. "Hello, kid." She greeted in a polite manner, before observing the pup calmly, contemplating her. She hasnt seen another pup since ever one could say. "I am Eir Ragnarok, who may you be?" She asked in response, this was her first contact with someone of Lirim, excluding Torin of course. "Can you see me?" |

kid? Siobhan tilted her head at the yearling, frowning deeply for a child her age. well, duh, she was a kid but it was sorta... well, it sounded odd! especially coming from a wolf not that much older than she was. Mister Dragon didn't call her 'kid' when she met him and he was ancient. the yearling went on to proclaim they were Eir Rag-something. to the pup, she felt like the girl was trying to act too mature for her age. "I'm Siobhan Valentine!" she barked, casting aside such thoughts for now. she'd roll over and bounce to her paws. "my Papa, Torin, let you into the pack. that means we're packmates now!" she did a little happy bounce at that. but she still didn't know what to make of the formality. nobody had ever talked to her like that before. "c'mon, I can show you all the best places to play!" she added in with a giggle. |
