Set My Soul
She was starting to feel better after her stubborn illness refused to go away. Today, she was on the hunt for some herbs that would likely help her recovery and speed it along, but first she needed to find them. She wandered the edge of the brackish water during its low tide, gaze peeled for the boneset she thought she saw here. Somewhere in the distance she could hear the cries of gulls as they soared over the water in search if scraps. Winter would also be here soon, and she wanted to help contribute to the pack and grab what she could for her stores while she had the energy to do it. After today's task, she would likely seek out her sons or perhaps any of the few pack members to see how they were doing. Despite her royal lineage, she was also a healer at heart. She figured she ought to do a check up and ensure everyone was doing well.

Perhaps, she thought, soon she would visit her father’s grave again… wondering what he thought of her now… if he was still watching…
She caught the scent of another and lifted her head. She could see another making her way along… an older female. Her coloration suggest she was related to Pegasus… his mother? The maned female felt anxiety stir in her stomach. What were they going to think of her? Especially if she and Peg had kids? The femme decided not to dwell on what ifs… and find out.
She let out a bark, loud enough to be heard but friendly to the other female. Here went something...
