This place was like nothing Poem had ever seen, and she wished that she had more personal time to explore it. Not long after she began she realized that Motif wasn’t likely to be here in the least. Dark ears fell to her skull as she also lowered her haunches to the ground carefully. She’d nicked her paw pads more than once on the dangerous terrain already.
The young destruction sighed heavily as she looked around her. The air was clear here, she’d mostly escaped the after effects of the volcano. Imperia had eventually found her, telling her all the news she’d gathered from their trip. Rhyme had made it back, Abaven was still fine and her family was indeed alive. Her father wasn't going to be able to return to her anytime soon though, the eruption’s after effects prevented him from leaving the island safely. She was going to be on her own for a while.
The winter sun shined down on her, it wasn’t very warming but at least she could see it. Her blue and lavender gaze looked up towards the east, the huge cloud of smoke and ash was hard to miss. The sun reflected heavily against it and Poem felt a chill run down her spine not just because of the cold. She hadn’t had a clue about Motif yet, and her heart was growing desperate.
