the area was just as flat and barren as she remembered. but this time, there was no lively festival to cheer her on. the dancefloor was lifeless, trampled and void. Willoughby frowned. it hadn't been more than a month or so since the Valhalla festival. she had met Philomena there, along with the others she had spoken to briefly, before leaving. she hadn't stayed very long, content to travel farther and explore her fortune.

perhaps if she had remained, the woman would know where to look. she tried to grasp at her memories, to see the faces that now faded before her eyes. any pack wolf would remain in their community. she could not start there. Willoughby had only a few ideas to start finding others. she could come across them, pitch her ideas to them randomly and hope for the best. she could be tactical about it, leeching off the misery of their losses and offering them hope. but she would not do that either. she wanted to promise them a home, a safe place to rest...

but they were not a pack.

this was a band. perhaps a pack one day. but now? they were a band of people that hoped one day to settle down, place roots on Mother Nature herself. laugh and cry with friends. have children. fall in love. she could only hope for the best, and for them. but who was 'them'? she had little in terms of the requirements, and she disliked the feeling of sadness it brought her. shaking her fur out, Willoughby continued to roam the dancefloor. a familiar sight caused her to quicken her steps until she saw the graceful shadow of -

"Miss Ivy? is that you?" Bee exclaimed at the other woman.

"Speech"
