A small fire crackled as it danced over dry logs, providing warmth but more importantly for the beast, light. His amber eyes were focused on his paws as he painstakingly weaved flower stems together. Ted and white flowers that bloomed in the snow had been gathered by the beast to make into a flower crown. Upon his head was a wilting white one that was in dire need of replacing. Flowers were not the only ornaments decorating his body; a plethora of leaves were woven into his fur, many of which were also wilting and blended into his soil coloured fur.

Koloskivi silently thanked the kindly, an old feline that taught him how to create a fire a moon ago. It was a very useful skill to possesses and while his thick fur was more than adequate protection, extra light was welcomed while he worked. The beast had learned about the art of making flower crowns from another loner, a younger one, and it had had a profound effect on the dark-faced wolf. The odd thing was Koloskivi usually hated anything that resembled a flower. But recently he had been adorning himself with flowers, leaves, even a few feathers; sadly the had fallen off. Winter made it difficult to come across flowers but thankfully there were flowers that bloomed in defiance of the cold. The ones the giant had found were his favorites out of the few options he had and he was eager to replace the wilting white. The young beast was ever so gentle as he wove the stems together, utterly focused on the task at hand.
