Koloskivi Roux - Male - Blackblood Dire

The distant glow that once could say these lands were its domain seemed to be gone, replaced by fire and snow. An odd mix. Yet somehow finding a away to be their own yin and yang. The fire would rage just weak enough so the snow could still blanket the terrestrial world. But the further he walked the stronger the fire raged; the hotter he got as did the ground. He turned around, he didn't want to deal with the heat and singeing of fire; Koloskivi was well aware of what fire did to creature whom wandered far too close to it. The beast's amber eyes grazed over the path of burnt grass he had been following, it seemed to go on forever and he was quite tired of seeing the same brown patches.

Koloskivi let out a huff of boredom, his paws itching to do anything but walk..walk. Walk. It seemed like thats all he ever did. The beast turned off the brunt path and into the more already singed to a crisp part of the forgotten orchard, his breath swirling into a cloud as the frigid winds of winter rampaged a crossed the fiery land. His thick coat acted as a wind breaker, but his eyes and nosed were still exposed and were cold to the touch. So, he turned to the nearest fire that hadn't gone out by the wind and sat close to it warmth; as would any smart creature.

I'll tough it out, I won't give in

Ashen silhouettes stretched up into the sky, skeletal remnants of the orchard trees that had given this area its name. It was depressing to say the least. Ash still covered the area and it hung in the sky casting a dim and gray light over the land. It was no longer habitable. Álarr swore and turned to Afi who offered a sympathetic glance. The Orchard had been his prime territory for gathering herbs but now it was mostly useless from a healing perspective. He shifted his pack and continued his exploration.

A tremor shook through the ground and he froze, waiting with baited breath until the tremor ceased. Thankfully it had been a small one. He picked up the pace, stopping only when he noticed another wolfen form sitting near a small fire. Álarr did not recognize the man. "Hello?" He called out to alert the other to his presence and started to walk over when Afi caught his attention. The cat gestured sharply to another wolf form not to far off. This form was undoubtedly dead, the earlier tremor having shaken the ash from it.

"That volcano has really left a mess…" He glanced at the other man, suddenly wishing the other wasn't there. The least he could do was get some practice in but he didn't want to be accused of desecrating the dead.
