Andromeda had found herself with a new lease of life returning to her as she recovered. She was regaining a little more weight and her coat was certainly looking healthier as well. She may not have been completely back to perfect health though the young Olympus girl was certainly getting there and now it seemed that there was no holding her back.

Inspired by the recent trip to her Ebony family the girl had sought adventure of sorts. Of course her plan was initially simply to find her own way back to the place she deemed a second home though without her mother's guidance she had found herself getting a little lost. She had ended up on the borders of a pack lands, that much she had figured out on her own though she certainly had no idea what pack lay beyond the lands. Although she could only recall travelling to and from Olympus and Ebony, the girl was struck by a strange familiarity about the place. The scent was of course the cause of this though the fact hadn't quite hit the golden girl yet. It certainly had her interest though after her recent trip to Ebony knew better than to charge in and investigate.

The ashen girl would heedlessly follow her sister, she said she knew where Ebony was. She insisted that she could lead Gaia there, and with the recent disappearance of their second mother she was eager to see her Ebony siblings again. Nothing would smell familiar to her as they walked, though she would not say anything to her sibling. Andromeda thought she knew where she was going, and Gaia would blindly follow her direction.
Her nose would stay pressed to her golden sister's flank, the other would would not let her sightless sister trip. Eventually the pair would appear before the border, or rather a border. The scent was somewhat familiar almost, and yet so very different from anything she had ever encountered. Dark burnt ears would fall to her skull, her voice somewhat accusing as she would address her sister. "Andromeda.. where have you brought me?"

To be fair to the gilded child the trip to and from Ebony wasn't one that they had frequently taken and the last venture there she had still been a little out of it and too excited to properly concentrate. The main thoughts running through her mind at that point had been her pleasure to be out once more and happier still by the thought of returning for a visit to Ebony. The journey may have taken quite some time though it hadn't seemed like a difficult one with their mother leading them and Andromeda had perhaps been filled with a false sense of confidence.

She should have been a little more worried about the fact she had gotten lost, especially as she had Gaia accompanying her on the trip though the strange feeling of familiarity was rather distracting from any fears and for now she remained curious and a rather bold nature was showing itself. Orange eyes would gaze into the lands, ears twisting as she strained to work out what was so striking about this place though still it wouldn't come to her.

Gaia would speak now though and remind Andromeda of her sister's presence. She would glance back to the silver girl now and a soft sigh would leave her lips. "I'm not sure." She responded, her sister's tone now starting to bring forwards the guilt she should have felt instantly upon realising they were lost. "I think its another pack." She knew it was another pack, Gaia probably did too of course though she would still state the words. "Gaia, do you get the feeling that this place is familiar?" After a brief pause she couldn't help but ask the question, it was bugging her.

Anthem Destruction had grown accustomed to the general peace offered by Ludicael. The pack was tight-knit, consisting mostly of his family members -- since the incident with Virgil, he had seen few new faces at the borders. And so the scent of unfamiliar wolves, wafting from the borders, was enough to spark his interest. Slowly he would redirect his aimless wandering toward the wolves that he did not know, a slow wag beginning in his tail. Though he was sometimes uncomfortable outside of his home, he knew this place well, and knew he was safe here. He could call to any of his family, and they would be there quickly if he ever needed them.

The man's gait was slow as he went, each step as lackadaisical as the last, with little purpose. He felt a nagging need to investigate, to see who had come to the borders, as he could already tell they were not wolves he knew as family. Slowly they came into view, and his gentle dandelion gaze grew bright and interested. Two children lingered near the borders, unfamiliar to him, but he would soon find out. A bark of greeting left his lips, sounding to them that he was a friend and nothing less, which his tail continued to wag wildly behind him.

He wondered why they did not have parents with them. Most children did. What made them different? A smile graced his features as he warily took a few steps closer, hesitation written plainly on his face. "Hi," he offered to them, keeping his distance, a nicety he sometimes struggled to remember.

Hephaestus had still been keeping rather apart from his siblings, still fearing the damage he could do to them were he to lose control once more of the curse that must surely be upon him, but he feared even more what might happen to them as they wandered away from Olympus' borders. So when he'd seen his sisters setting out so boldly for Ebony, he had lumbered to his over-sized paws and set out to follow them. At first all had seemed well, but as they went further and further his brow began to knot in concern, for nothing seemed familiar to him. He considered revealing himself and his concerns to his sisters, but Andromeda seemed so confident, and Gaia followed her so confidently, that he doubted himself rather than her, and so remained hidden.

Upon their unexpected arrival to a pack border that was certainly not Ebony's, he came finally to the conclusion that maybe Andromeda's confidence had been misplaced. Hesitantly he sniffed at the scent of the pack's markers as his sisters did, then blinked, disconcerted, at the appearance of an adult male. He wordlessly bumbled from his hidden position to curl his hefty form around his sisters, blinking uneasily though with no hostility at the older male as he did. If his sisters were going to get in trouble for wandering to another pack's territory, he was going to have to get in trouble right along with them. That was what responsibility meant, right?

In the long run, Gaia had no fear of being lost in the woods, she knew how to follow their scent trail home. She didn't smell any rain upon the air so it would not be washed away soon. She was more perturbed that Andromeda had not known the way. I'm not sure. I think its another pack." Gaia's brows would knit together, that much was obvious by the scent, but that didn't explain why it was familiar. She knew about Ebony and Olympus. How many more pack were out there? If she were to be queen one day she had to know of these lesser packs. "Gaia, do you get the feeling that this place is familiar?" She would adorn a look of curiosity. She had noticed the familiarity of the scent as soon as they'd arrived, however she knew not how. "Yes, it almost smells like.." She would be interrupted by a sudden bark. Internally she would curse herself for not being alerted to him earlier. He was still a bit of a ways off, she would hear him now as he shuffled closer.
She would take in his scent, even though he was still a respectable distance away. He was probably still on the other side of the border when he gave them a quiet greeting. As he did so a familiar gait would be heard behind her. Hephaestus would come to surround them protectively. She'd wondered who it was that had been trailing them. "Hello." she would say, unseeing eyes trained on the unknown male, "Can you tell us where we are?"

Novella hadn't been up to much at all when she had suddenly caught Anthem's scent heading towards the borders. After the incident with Virgil she had certainly become a little more protective her her brother and worry would of course sweep through her, not sure if he would remain within the lands of Ludicael or try and take a walk once more. She hoped it would be the former of course but she wasn't about to take any chances and would follow his scent glad to find that he had stopped.

He however wasn't alone as fact that concerned Novella a little, though not quite too much as she realised the other forms were only pups. Instead her concern would be for them, there was no other adult in sight currently and they certainly weren't pups from the pack so what were they doing out here alone?

Closing the distance she would move forwards to her brother's side, prepared to say something herself though instead shock would come over her as she examined the pups a little closer. A silver girl looked somewhat like a grayscale version of her brother Legend with her white markings around her eyes it was however the other girl that would truly surprise Novella. The gradient tones and markings beneath her eyes made her look so incredibly similar to Arelahn and Satu though the colouring was certainly not the dusty browns instead golden tones that she had seen once before on another wolf; Virgil.

She couldn't recall the Olympus scent well enough to confirm that fact though the other facts certainly favoured the idea forming in her mind; these were Anthem's children? Although she wished to confirm the fact for sure she certainly wouldn't ask in front of her brother, Anthem didn't understand what he had done and certainly had no idea that he was a father. She didn't want to dig up that past once more and would instead keep the thoughts to herself.

"Hello." She gave a greeting of her own, eyes still fixed upon the three children as if they might suddenly vanish. "You are on the borders of a pack called Ludicael at the moment. Where are you meant to be?" Clearly they were lost, she certainly would help them if she could, they shouldn't be out on their own like this.

Gaia too would sense that odd familiarity that Andromeda was still having trouble placing. Maybe it was that scent that she had gotten so confused but either way she would wonder more about that for the moment the what was actually the right way to home or Ebony. A stranger would appear before them, Andromeda would protectively take a step forwards as she eyed him carefully though before she could fully assess whether or not he was a threat, Hephaestus would appear before them, separating them from the white and silver man.

The stranger would greet them and it would be Gaia who would speak up next, questioning where they currently were. The male wouldn't be the one to answer though for another stranger would suddenly approach white as well though with vivid markings around her eyes. They were somewhat similar to Gaia's though Andromeda wouldn't notice it for herself.

"We are from Olympus." Andromeda would speak up now, answering the question simply. "We have family in Ebony that we were hoping to see." Perhaps she shouldn't have told the two strangers everything though they didn't seem threatening in this moment. The children had been fortunate enough to lack danger in their lives so far, the epidemic being the most traumatising thing for them along with their mother's absence after a bear attack. They had made it through both though, was there really any reason to be scared of these two wolves now?

There had been two children at first -- one with bright orange eyes, and one with a hazy grey stare. Another boy with earthy hues and similar orange eyes trailed close behind them and Anthem offered a toothy smile in his direction, nodding his head gently. The girl with the murky stare spoke first, though as she tilted her head toward him, her stare seemed distant and unseeing. 'Can you tell us where we are?' she asked. He smiled at her too, liking the gentle sound of her voice. "Ludicael," he recited quickly, as he had memorized the name and would not forget it.

It seemed his knack for not knowing what to say would not be challenged today. Novella seemed quick to follow the source of the unfamiliar scent, approaching the children as well. He offered her a nudge to her shoulder as she drew near, his tail beginning to wag behind him. "What's Ebony?" he would ask with true curiosity, wondering if it was the name of a place or maybe the name of a group of wolves, like Ludicael.

She would hear as another wolf would approach, a female who seemed to know much more about what she was talking about than the first male. They both sounded rather friendly at least, but she was still unsure about the whole thing. Andromeda would answer again, telling them exactly of the plans they had made an attempt to execute. She would hear the man speak again, after answering her simply, and he would ask about Ebony. Didn't everyone know about Ebony and Olympus? They were the greatest Empires, and yet here he was asking about it. Gaia would refrain from answering, she just wanted to get to Ebony really. She missed her siblings.
