She was the second to last to take up her fight and she had enjoyed watching the three beforehand. Her mother and uncle were the only ones left as the young Princess stood up and looked to her own opponent. She didn’t know her cousin, but she looked like a worthy opponent with her impressive snake. Venom flicked her tongue towards them as she smirked and took up her place.

Venom was nearing her adult height and could look her albino cousin in the eyes with ease. The Princess was a Klein to be sure, her family had an innate superiority to them. Recluse might have been older, but the almost yearling wasn’t nervous. ”Recluse,” Venom’s sweet voice didn’t reveal the intensity that her eyes did. This fight was real and she was eager to show off everything she’d learned in her short life.

It seemed it was her turn, the young Klein rolled her shoulders in anticipation, Lilith coiling around Recluse's neck, tasting the air. It was clear the cobra was also eager to get a taste of violence. Her opponent was one of her cousins a young girl who was already a bit taller than Recluse. She quriked a brow briefly as she caught a flash of a forked tongue slipping from her lips, exactly like Lilith's. Interesting... she thought to herself, she had been around Ashen long enough at this point to know her family had started to manifest some rather interesting traits she had never seen on a wolf before. Perhaps it would be worth getting to know her cousin better... "Venom." Recluse returned the greeting, inclining her head to the side in a sort of half nod. She could see the intensity in her cousin's eyes and couldn't help but smirk. She would enjoy this, a solid fight from an opponent clearly going to give her all. Recluse swerved away from her cousin, putting some distance between them. The albino dropped herself into a defensive position, Lilith had moved from the girl's neck to be perched at the crown of Recluse's skull ready to launch out and attack their opponent. Recluse took a moment to eye up her cousin before she'd launch forwards, trying to bullrush her cousin, hoping to violently slam her chest into the younger girl's chest, at the same time she opened her jaw, tipping her head back ready to try and grab at the base of Venom's throat. Already Venom knew she wouldn’t want that snake anywhere near her. Still, the creature added to the challenge and the young Princess was eager to meet it. Recluse greeted her similarly as he positioned herself to start their battle. Adrenaline raced through her veins as her heart pounded against her chest. She projected a cool calm demeanor as the albino Klein and her cobra stared back at her.

Recluse launched her attack without warning and Venom was reminded heavily of Sirius fought. Venom bent her joints and balanced herself on her toes. She was taller than Recluse but they were of the same light build. Being able to predict your opponent was key and Venom had a feeling her cousin was going for her throat. Venom tucked her chin and dug her claws into the ground as she jutted the point of her right shoulder for Recluse to slam into. Teeth wrapped around the loose skin of her neck (on the right) in a much less dangerous position.

Venom aimed to twist her head in the older girl’s grasp so she could take the hold Recluse originally aimed for. She wanted to stay lower than her cousin, and to stay out of the way of the snake. With her right arm she raised her sharp claws and aimed to slash menacing across Recluse’s left shoulder.

Recluse felt her breath escape her lungs briefly as she slammed into Venom, hitting her shoulder more than her chest. Recluse's grab was successful though even if it wasn't the exact place she'd hoped and she honed onto the grip she had to keep from letting go even as she was winded. Venom twisted her head to the side and Recluse tried to wrench it back, shaking her head and hoping to keep her grip. Venom's fangs grazed along the base of her neck as she jerked her head around, enough to draw blood but missing the grasp. Lilith had quickly ascertained where Venom was aiming and slid down from her perch to rest across Recluse's shoulders, head hovering out from Recluse's shoulders. The snake would try to throw herself forward to grab a hold of Venom's nose as she tried to bite at Recluse's throat. She made sure to keep her venom from the bite, if the fight had been more serious the snake would not have hesitated to protect the albino girl but in a friendly spar against family? Well, she was pretty sure it'd not be appreciated if she injected the pup. Recluse hissed in pain as Venom's claws raked cleanly along her shoulder, a direct hit she hadn't even had time to notice to try to dodge. It seemed her cousin had more surprises than she had first assumed. Venom felt a satisfaction roll through her as she heard Recluse’s breath race past her dark ears. She couldn’t quite grin as her jaws wrapped around Recluse’s neck and she was shook in return. Venom drew blood but as her cousin shook her head so did she. Venom tried not to yelp in pain as she held on tight. Feeling her claws rake through flesh was satisfying, but she was distracted by the bite of the snake. The blood tasted good, but it wasn’t worth getting cobra fangs in her nose.

The young Princess barely dodged a faceful of fangs but she was still held tightly by Recluse. She shook herself this time, trying to rid herself of Recluse’s grasp as well as hopefully brush her scruff against the other girl and loose a few quills.
