He needed to find something to eat, that's what was on his mind. A nice looking heron from the nearby area had made its way into the gulley. While he wasn't entirely used to hunting birds he had shot his luck and it had succeeded. Eraithus was met with a meal that would fill him from his hunger. Food was hard to come by as a loner he was realizing only because he didn't know the best places to hunt yet. Boreas seemed filled with life but his paws were missing every land that had food. Unless all the areas that did indeed have food were just already claimed by the packs, which would make a lot of sense.

After finishing his meal though he took a step back and realized that he was in a beautiful place. The wind was blowing flowers gently against the breeze. The fall weather didn't stop them from sprouting in colors of red, white and even purple. Eraithus smiled and wagged his tail the feeling he felt was great. He wished he could show his brother and sister this but he had yet to find them. Sighing he simply moved a bit forward from his carcass deciding that perhaps he would roll around in the grass.

Slender legs walked along the grass of the area as the sweet aroma of fall wafted into the femme’s nose. It felt like forever ago since she had lost her child; hoping by some miracle that he was alive. The wolfess knew for a fact that they would think she abandoned them, when in reality she had ended up getting lost as a storm washed his scent and where she had last resided away from her. During that treacherous situation, the woman had walked away to go and hunt for them both. The likelihood of Dunkan surviving was rather slim, but at a young age he always seemed strategic and the little bits of hope that she would find him were forever in her mind. She loved her child and would easily give up her life for him; but, for now, she would continue along the world and see what sort of things that her eyes and nose would find her.

It didn’t take long as Emmeline’s icy-blue gaze to lock onto someone whom she had not recognized. They were of different coloration than what she was used to, but the wolf was not one to judge by appearance, only personality and action. They rolled around in the grass as the gentle flowers blew in the autumn breeze. The way the stranger behaved, they seemed to be almost chi;d-like or relaxed, causing her to give a small smile across her maw as it was a nice sight to see. They didn’t seem to be hostile at least.

She sauntered over towards the wolf, tilting her crown a little in curiosity as her gentle and relaxed “Hello” rung from her voice, “Hopefully I did not disturb you,” Emmeline said, her voice sounding melodious which matched her slender frame and feminine appearance.

His serenity had been disturbed by a newcomer, though he was caught in awe of her. Not because of her feminine quality, appearance didn't mean much to him, but because of her... regularity. Well compared to the other wolves of Boreas that he had met so far. Fangs and glowing white fur it was a nice change of pace to actually meet a wolf who was not covered in mutations. Not that he was judging, he was the least judgemental male he'd ever met himself. Eraithus smiled her tone of voice gave it away a bit but he stood then and wagged his tail. "Not at all." he responded to her asking if she had disturbed him or rather hoped she hadn't. "In fact I was just about to roll in this here grass care to join me?"

He laughed as he said it. There was something about doing something childish that took the edge off of life really. Eraithus looked down the small hill and back to the lass in front of him. "My name is Eraithus... by the way." her markings were beautiful at least. His blue eyes looked over her for a moment. Sadly enough many females didn't like his advances. Same with some males, his pack was all for it but they were all boring to him. And he had very peculair needs he knew that himself.
