It wasn?t easy accepting Amber?s decision to go search for Gavroche, or to allow her persistence to lead him her. His prankster of a daughter, good hearted, was going to find her brother and lead him here as soon as she found him. In the meantime he was to stay at Ebony, hopefully, and watch over his nephew and his young children. The calico brute would come to a stop by the borders, taking a breath. He was getting a bit older, but he was not yet done his life. There was still much to do, including shape his new future. Ebony would hopefully be the place to do that... Where he could stand with his family.
Head would tilt back, his howl rising in the air, keeping politeness about it. He sought entrance from any who might accept him, and, with any luck at all, perhaps Hajime or even one of his children might find him as well. He honestly couldn?t wait to meet them. How big were they now, Allen wondered? He would sit, getting comfortable in the frozen white blanket that covered the ground. Whether the wait was long or short it didn?t matter. He did not intend to leave these lands still a loner. He was tired of travel... And sought to put his paws to good use.
