Swept under the rug

Kaizer wanted to stretch her legs, there was nothing more patronizing than sitting down all day. She drifted between the continents but when she had heard of the battlefield she had decided to head this way. It seemed strange to take a few days journey just to look for a fight but for Kaizer that's what was in her blood. She only wished that she had an army to serve in. She would save these fanasies for another time.
She stood in the middle of the battlefield with her eyes scanning the area. Best she get to know the place with its blood stained grounds. Her paws pressed into the dirt, this felt more like home. The barren hills and the scent of death and harm. She raised her head and howled. Kaizer longed for a fight - she didn't care if it was a friendly one or a more viscious one. As long as someone could give her the time than she didn't care. |
Mæva remained at the battlefield for a few more days, anxious to put her skills to the test. Now joined by Geira she had a bit more range in which to roam and company to be allowed to stay overnight. It was still a bit of a stretch but she would make the most of the time allotted to her.
Her ears perked up at the sound of call for a challenger. Slipping out of her den she loped toward the call, wanting to get there before someone else did. When she arrived she saw a gray woman with green eyes. Mæva set her defenses. "I'll take this spar if you're down."
An opponent presented themselves pretty quickly. Kaizer enjoyed this as after all that's what she felt like she was meant to do. Maeva settled her defenses already and it made Kaizer smile. "It'd be my pleasure." she dipped her head as she settled her weight across her body. Spreading her limbs evenly. "Kaizer. Nice to meet you." Kaizer just felt like it was polite to introduce herself at least. She wasn't aware of this wolf's fighting style and she was just about to find out. They were just about the same size, however Maeva seemed slightly bit lighter in weight. Kaizer would pin her ears against her head, rolling up her scruff for protection. In one swift movement she stepped to her right and charged attempting to slam her jutted left shoulder into the middle of Maeva's chest. As she did so her tail made sure to keep her balance her toes spreading into the dirt for more traction. Kaizer opened her jaw at the same time, aiming to attempt a viscious bite to Maeva's left shoulder where it met with her back. Kaizer's upper jaw aiming to gain purchase towards the back and her lower jaw around the front of the limb.

Mæva's call was quickly answered by a woman with pretty green eyes. The youth quickly set her defenses and nodded in greeting. "Nice to meet you too, I'm Mæva!" She was excited and nervous, eager to sharpen her skills after her back to back losses with Sirius' boys. Mæva coiled her legs and prepared herself to move swiftly.
Kaizer charged forward and as the older woman slipped to her right, Mæva would also slip to her right causing Kaizer's shoulder slam to miss her chest but she felt the woman's shoulder clip her left shoulder. She felt a stinging pain in the top of her left shoulder as Kaizer's fangs also nicked her flesh. Mæva focused on her own attacks, curving her upper body in as she attempted to bite the woman's side, just in front of her left hip.

Kaizer was a bit surprised that this pup knew what she was doing. Perhaps it was because she had been a skilled fighter at home but here... they were all strangers and she might as well have been a rusty sword. The attack however was very simple. As Maeva reached her fangs to the front of Kaizer's left hip her teeth would collide with the muscle and fat there. As it bled moderately Kaizer grimaced - that was the feeling she had been searching for. As she did so though, her paws spread to keep her balance. Toes digging into the dirt as the two collided wolves seemed to be in a pickle.
With Kaizer being pressed against Maeva, her attempt would be for her jaws to open and aim to bite on the the middle of the pups back. Her upper jaw aiming for the right side of her spine and the lower jaw to the left side. Kaizer attempted to swing her hips to her left in an escape attempt as well. Her tail being used as balance as she let a growl rip through her. |
Adrenaline coursed through her, she could hear her own heart pounding in her ears. She didn't think much now that they were fully engaged, she ran purely on instinct. Her fangs connected to the other woman's side, digging into flesh and drawing blood. She got a hold! She got a hold! Mæva attempted to lock her jaws in and worsen the grip but as she was locked in to the other woman she wasn't paying attention to what the other woman was doing.
She felt fangs bite into her back and then the woman's hips suddenly swerved causing Mæva to lurch forward and fall losing her grip and pulling herself out of the woman's grip.
