Now that he was officially home the male felt he needed to get his butt in gear. He still felt the need to prove to Torin that the past wouldn't repeat itself and that he would be a strong part of the pack. For now he was holding off on getting back in gear with hid fight training. With it being winter and the major fact of no solid good hunters within the pack, he was focusing his thoughts on hunting and providing for the pack. With a good amount of young ones he would need to keep the meals coming to ensure their survival. There was also a few older ones within the pack that would need decent meals to survive. He needed to track down some larger prey as well as taking smaller prey and he was determined that he would be successful today. He wouldn't go home empty handed.

Despite being in the middle of winter there was still plenty of prey around and he headed to a spot that his father had took him hunting before. The dance floor was one of the better hunting spots around since it had lush grass and a good water source. Even with the snow he knew the prey animals could dig in the light layer of snow for something to eat. The male moved along at a decent pace. His nose held close to the ground as he searched for scent and for tracks.

His silvery eyes would search the snow directly before him as he moved deeper into the dance floor of the gods.

Winter was Raelyn's prime season, her season to blend into the very landscape that forced others to stand out like sore paws. Her birth season, her heat season, but most importantly, her season to thrive. White coat let her fade into the landscape during hunts, long legs and thick paws made it easier for her to glide across deep snow. The only problem she could have faced besides the cold, was going at it alone. Above all else, Raelyn despised solitude, for it created more problems than answers and it went against her very nature. She craved attention like an essential vitamin, something she desparately needed for her very survival. Wolves were pack animals in the end, right? No one wants to be alone forever. At least, that was the way Rae thought. So when she ventured out across the great open plain once more, the lush blanket of snow that covered the earth nearly hiding her frame, she was elated to catch sight of a stranger in the distance.

As if simply finding another wolf wasn't a blessing enough, the chilling winter breeze brought the scent of a delicious male too. A purr would rumble from her lips, and instead of taking a moment to think on why the male was here, she simply strode in his direction like the queen of ice, here to inspect her new... toy. Once she arrived close enough, Raelyn would allow a brief moment of observation, tilting her head from side to side as she looked over the scene before her. It was obvious the male was dashing, his appearance a tasteful flash of earthly hues splatter with a healthy dose of snow white. In truth, the male might have escaped her icy sights if not for the dark hues that caused him to stand out against winter. Rallying herself together, the winter vixen would call out to the male, oblivious to his intentions, with a soft smile upon her lips. "Good day to you, handsome stranger."
