Winter seemed to be furious with the north, and Julien wasn't exactly sure why. Heaps of snow would fall, almost daily, as if nature itself was trying to bury those who live in the north, alive. Thankfully lineage had been kind to the young Ancora-Desrosiers, his towering height visible even though he was only three-fourths of a year old. His legs were tall enough to let him keep his head above the snow bank, but not much else. He could have just stayed in the den, he could've just huddled up and kept warm, but then he would have surely gone mad. Instead, the young male made his way out and into the world, where the sun worked hard to shine through winter clouds that continued to spit flurries, though today it would seem to be a much slower pace. A manageable pace.

Acting like a plow, Julien attempted to further himself away from the den and into the pines, trying to find something to eat or something to do, perhaps even attempt training... alone, like usual. He was getting tired of living in a pack and not really having anyone to talk to. He had family crawling around here somewhere but... they didn't really talk like he imagined family should. But was all this normal? Was this what everyone else had to go through? Why did it suck so much? His breathing coming out in short pants as the pup pushed his weight in snow, muscles groaning and causing him to grunt every now and again. "Come... on! Stupid... snow!"
