Four days had passed since Attor had gotten her maw around something to eat, and she was quite hungry. The woman had been trotting along the forest's edge for quite some time, eyeing the smaller rabbits, as well as the larger prey. She debated hunting small or large prey and decided a rabbit would suffice.
Attor carefully moved into a crouch, her eyes scanning the field for the telltale ears of her chosen prey. Movement ahead of her and to the east caught her attention. The rabbit was standing on its hind legs, its nose twitching as it scanned the horizon. The woman carefully moved closer, moving so the scent of the rabbit blew towards her, her scent carefully hidden.
Slowly, Attor began her approach, her body held so low that her chest brushed the ground with each movement. Attor knew not to rush such things, and was careful to watch the rabbit's movements. It hadn't spotted her yet and moved to silently nibble on a small flower.
The snake slowly crept closer, her eyes never leaving her prey, not blinking once. When she was around 3 yards from the rabbit, it turned and made eye contact with her. Now, Attor had not expected this, but it was something she could easily handle.
In a flash, the rabbit had turned to run, but Attor was quick to charge from her crouch aiming to snag the rabbit quickly. The rabbit attempted to turn to avoid her jaws, but Attor had seen the way its head had leant to the right, and so she lunged ahead of it. Landing in front of the rabbit, Attor was quick to snap her jaws around its stomach, crushing its ribs quickly. The rabbit dropped from her maw, and her tail gently wagged in excitement.
She plopped down nearby, her eyes quickly scanning the nearby area for any potential threats. Attor would not eat until her adrenaline settled, so she instead began to quietly lick the blood spatter from her chest and maw, paying little heed to her surroundings.

Prey...he was looking for prey, but not the usual kind. The teen was making his way to the Black Beach, wanting to see its mystifying darkness again, but the scent of another making way to his nose stopped him in his tracks. He hunkered down, ears folding and tail leveling for balance, as he crept towards the source of the scent. The only thing breaking line of sight between him and them were the slight rises and falls of little hills, as the prairie was devoid of any trees or bushes that could hide him.
Out there, in the distance, was another canine, scent exposing them as being a she-wolf despite not entirely looking like it. All of the females he'd seen in his short life so far were lithe and skinny. This one seemed to possess the bulk and scars of a warrior, suggesting she was much older and probably more experienced than the females he'd seen. He rose from his hunkered down position, a small grimace temporarily adorning his face, betraying his disappointment. His grimace faded as he began to make his way towards her. Plan A would not work, and he figured it more interesting to talk to her rather than simply walk away.
He didn't try to hide his presence. Head was risen high, exuding confidence that came naturally to him, but he did not raise his tail or bare his fangs. Instead he smirked just a little, before asking, "Where'd you get that scar from? On your muzzle." he sounded borderline sarcastic, teetering just on the edge of 'i don't care' attitude, though his tone could also be interpreted as somewhat impassive, mixed with subdued curiosity.

Attor had just started eating when the sound of something approaching her greeted her perked ear. She rose from her lounging position, only turning her head to peer at the figure when they had spoken to her. Her eyes roved over the figure, squinting in apprehension as well as a soft disdain.
“A lover,” She replied almost mockingly, a playful lilt to her usually deep voice.
Attor was not easily threatened, especially by wolves smaller than she, so she relaxed quite quickly. She moved to take a seat across the wolf, the rabbit between the two. The woman eyed him closely as she tore a large chunk from the rabbit, swallowing it down eagerly.
The woman was carefully eyeing the figure, pondering what his purpose was. It was not unusual for wolves to attempt to chase her from her food. However, he seemed more well-fed than she. This was a bit daunting to the woman, seeing as he could potentially be a threat. She resigned to eyeing him carefully, her left ear perked, and her right keeping it’s usual bent posture.
