With the Tempo now

Obi, at Toxicity's request, had steered clear of Deathbelle since she had broken one of the holy rules. It wasn't his job to be passing judgement- but it was Toxicity's so he would listen to her ruling. Deathbelle, while exalted by Archon, was not truly of godly lineage, so that power belonged with her children. That was the only judgement Obi was willing to pass and only because it was of who he followed. He was still loyal to Deathbelle as the alpha of the pack he was in, but that's where it stopped, even though he had a soft spot for his companion's once-mate.
Also by Tox's request, Obi had ventured out in search of Tempo, the shy pup who believed he was truly cursed. Tox believed this curse may be a source of godly power yet unknown to the Abraxas lineage. He started the search between Ashen lands and the lands towards the pack the pup had been from. Hopefully he would be able to pick up a trail soon, although he was nowhere near as good of a tracker as a wolf would be. He would still try his best.

Tempo was shaking by the time he had started to slow his flight from Abaven's border. His jaw parted and tongue lolling as he panted, swaying on his paws before he found them buckling under him. His knees simply seeming to give out and the world rose up to meet him. An "oof" escaped his throat as he hit the ground, rough. Tempo's eyes fluttered for a moment but he managed to hang onto his consciousness, more tired than anything else. His violet gaze sliding along the treetops and then skirting along the ground, he noted the river he could have just as easily collapsed into and some part of him wondered if that might not have made things easier, slip away with no one looking for him. Then a scent drifted towards him on the breeze, the distinction smell of Toxicity's friend. The strange round faced animal that has perched in the tree. Tempo lifted his head, looking around. "Obi?" He managed to croak, throat still raw from his run and from the crying. |

Obi heard the chaotic, uneven footsteps the led to Tempo's collapse although he did not know yet that it was the boy he was looking for. The soft voice carried only barely, muddied and harsh on the young one's throat. Obi shuffled over quickly to find the small wolf splayed out on the ground. Obi approached him and cradled Tempo's heavy head between his hands, "There, there," he comforted quietly, lifting one hand to stroke Tempo's crown softly. "You have done well to come back all this way." His palm supported the pale wolf's snout while his fingers ran through the soft fur at the base of his throat. He aimed to soothe the young boy with gentle pets and scratches. "Rest for a moment," he said, peering into Tempo's eyes. "You are not injured, are you?"
