The glowing stallion ambled carefully through the stalls and yurts, eyes flicking here and there, ears pricking and swiveling as he took in the almost overwhelming activity and chatter, and music.
He towered over most of the structures, having a good view of everything. There were a few tents that were exquisitely made to have a higher ceiling. It reminded him of his mother’s stories, and he drank all of this in with a sense of amazement and fascination. So many wolves, so many pups. He had to navigate carefully, watching for swarms of pups. He wouldn’t be able to forgive himself if he stepped on one and broke something.
His tail flicked in thought as he swung his great, horned head around, studying the veritable rivers and creeks of wolves before he picked a direction and made his way through the crowds, finding the most open paths.

It was unusual for Hirundo to reprimand Nihil, but his outburst could alert both the equine and canines in this area. She glared down at him for a moment before her attention returned to the dilemma at hand.
It was possible it was a trap, and that this was yet another dead equine. But the scent smelled different in a way, it wasn't laced with death as the others had been. The risk, Hirundo estimated, wasn't too large. So, the mare continued closer to the scent, her nostrils flaring as she paced along the edge of the wolves' scent. She assumed it was a territory, by how strong the scent was and how solid the line of smell was. Her eyes narrowed and she came to a stop at the feeling she wasn't alone. Her eyes scanned the direction the scent of her fellow equine had come from, and she noticed a faint glow. Hirundo was now far more interested in whatever was glowing than the wolves or the equine. However, she noticed the glow moved, and that the glow had shape. Her head tilted as she made her approach, was this some form of magic she was yet to encounter?
The mare knew she stood out like a goose in a hen house, being as gold and strange looking as she was, but at least she didn't glow.
