The fight she had done during Valhalla's festival had really made her realize how much she needed to work on her fighting. Sure, she could defend herself okay with the knowledge she had gotten from the wolves that had begun her training with in her father's band, but there was still so much for her to learn! The wolves here all seemed to be better trained than she was, but that didn't discourage her. If anything she was even more determined to learn so that she could go toe to toe with them. She had heard that there was this place called the battlefield where wolves came to fight and she set out early in the morning to go there. Of course she could learn from some of the wolves in the pack that were good at fighting too, but she liked getting all kinds of perspectives so she could see how other wolves fought too. She had learned that after experiencing how Torrent fought and then seeing the other fights throughout the tournament to compare. When she got to the wide open field she realized that she had found the battlefield when she noticed the occasional splash of old, dried blood here and there from fights that had happened in the past. By then it had grown a bit later in the day and the sun was high in the sky above her. Dunkan travelled to the battlefield with clear intentions of getting some practice. He wanted to get himself into another level. He wasn't going to lose a Raid again,he couldn't allow hiself to do so. What would others in the Armada think about a loser? A warrior in name but a weak with his actions? No he just couldn't stand that. And like that he went to the fields for some fun. But then,a call from someone made him approach. It seemed someone shared his mind today. Well he could use this chance.Urasa as always came with him. Both needed to learn the work as a team.

As he arrived he found a yearling like him there in the fighting grounds. Calmly and with his cold expression he stood before her,keeping a distance of 10 feet. "Greetings miss. Mind if I join the fight?" He asked,setting his defenses. "You can start if you'll like." He offered,just to show courtesy. Urasa stood beside him.

She was happy that she didn't have to wait very long for an opponent to arrive. She was certain that the longer she had to wait the more antsy she would get so at leas now she wouldn't have to wait around and let her nerves build up. The man that approached her seemed to be about the same age as her, but he had a slightly heavier build. She was a tiny bit on the taller side in comparison, but barely enough to make much of a difference. As least as far as physical features went they were pretty even. It was hard to judge how experienced he was just from looking at him though and she also had to think about the jaguar that was lingering near his side. She was here to learn and this was the perfect opportunity to do that. "Absolutely!" he replied with a grin, clearly more easy going than he was with his more serious expression. She dropped into a slightly crouched, defensive stance with her muscles tensed and ready to spring. She kept her tail tucked out of the way as well as keeping her head low and in line with her spine. She was still learning the feeling of getting into this set stance so it took her a second longer to build up her defenses then other more experienced wolves would. Once that was taken care of she went right into her first attack since he had opened the floor for her to make the first move. She ran forward, using long strides to close the distance between them as quickly as possible. Once she was able she reached out to attempt to grab his foreleg on the opposite side from where the jaguar was standing. She wanted to make sure that she put the male in-between her and the feline as much as possible to prevent it being able to attack her right away. She aimed her parted jaws at his leg right above his ankle, hoping to get a quick, firm hold on the limb so she could work that grip into her future attacks. He nodded upon her agreement for him to join the fight. He placed his tail between his legs to protect certain parts from being seen a target. Then he would pin hid ears to the back of his skull and eyes narrowed upon the female who appeared to be close his age.Well he was ready to start. And for his good sake, she started right away. Starting with rushing his way,opposite to where Ursa stood.She was going for his legs close to his joint. He felt the firm grip of her jaws. Quickly he would attempt to turn his body with his head facing hers.simultaneoulsy he would attempt to cast a firm bite onto her scruff between her head and the rest of the body.Then he would shake his head but not too hard, this was a practice so he held no need to cause injuries to his opponent this time. Her teeth latched onto his leg successfully and she was happy that she had been fast enough to do that, but then that also put her in a place where she couldn't avoid him reaching for her scruff at all. Before she could do anything with the hold she got on his leg his teeth latched onto her scruff and she felt him shaking her, not hard enough to really hurt that much, but he threatened to pull her off of his leg since she didn't want to bite on his leg too hard either. She let go of his leg and instead tried to pull away from his hold on her scruff as she lunged forward to shove her shoulder hard into his leg right where it bent at his elbow. She hoped that she might be able to free herself at the same time as knocking him off of his feet, but that would all depend on if she was actually able to get him to let go of her scruff. The male felt pleased with his attack successfully reaching the spot he wanted to,and as he shook his head, tail was now risen but not to show dominance,it was there for balance. And it seemed his attack worked for getting his leg free from her teeth.But of course, she went to take another route. This time she went forward to smash her shoulder against his joint, quickly he would try to turn his body again wanting to face her, his plan was to make her shove her shoulder in his chest instead of his joint,if he was successful he went to attempt to wrap his legs around her shoulders, simultaneously he went to cast another bite on her scruff again, right into the previous place he went for earlier. Her attempt to shove him was mostly thwarted when her shoulder missed her intended mark and he instead put his chest in the path of her shoulder. She wasn't quite strong enough to make any real effect at that point, but she still shoved as hard as she could, probably causing a bit of bruising for the both of them. It was something at least so she tried not to dwell on it too much. She didn't realize his paws were coming up around her shoulders until it was pretty much too late for her to do anything about it, but it wasn't too late for her to avoid him getting her scruff. Elba ducked her head and slipped away from his forelegs, slipping her head under his right leg so that she could dart out from under him. It made his forelegs land briefly across her upper back, but she tried to quickly slip away and have his legs fall back to the ground. If she was really lucky perhaps the move would throw off his balance as well, but she wasn't going to hold her breath. As long as she kept him from getting that entrapping hold on her then she was happy. Darting past him, she aimed another bite toward his right thigh, wanting to get her teeth into the upper portion of his leg before he could readjust himself and retaliate. His counter for her smack was successful,he managed to make her hit a different target. But of course, this still caused some pain,as with the hard-hit she gave he was sure this region would be sore for some time.But well this was just part of his life as a warrior and this pain was nothing, unlike the one, one could get in real fights without rules.Then she tucked her head making him lose the grip,he barely could regain his balance and felt a bit ahead. But using his widened fingers he managed to stay away from another embarrassing fall. But he had little time to think about it as she felt her fangs on his thigh.From mere inertia his tail was placed between his legs,just in case she wanted to go for another target there.
