she made plenty of attempts to dive within the people and explore to the fullest, but remained unwilling to grasp at the crowds with the same level of normal as others. thus, she managed only to linger around the edges, watching as the wolves pooled into one area, and then the next. the excitement they carried over things to see and collect, people to speak to. but farrah, she settled just out of reach, watching with eager attention. if there was someone she knew within, or.. someone who would drag her along. maybe she could do it, maybe one day she could belong within the masses. why do you want to go along with them? all the noise and fuss had pulled them all the way here. it wasn't like she could easily ignore it, the murmuring in the area. the curious pull she wasn't afraid to follow. ru hadn't of been happy about it, complaining the whole way. why wouldn't i complain? you act like there is anything interesting in such a group!something had to be interesting, for some many to gather. what did they talk about? what did they take home? could she try again, try to poke into the crowd unnoticed. yet, she wouldn't move, toes flexing into the ground below her. she wasn't overly groomed, in fact barely groomed at all. sticks stuck within the coat of her neck. some dirt on her legs from the travel over. even a smudge of it above her nose, which wrinkled with the intake of new smells. ill goo... goooo.. when people start leaving! a cowards decision, but still her own. Aoife trotted along, casually dodging under feet and weaving through legs with the skill of someone who has been super tiny their whole life. Even for her age, she was tiny, far smaller than even her normal-sized siblings let alone Ardyn who was already the size of a small adult. It was good that she had boundless energy, because she ended up taking two or three or more steps just to keep up with everyone else. And it wasn't just for her own sake that she'd gotten so good at avoiding everyone's big stompy paws, because more than one wolf in her life had needed to pull quills from their paw when they accidentally stepped on her.
She paused, reassessing her path when she spotted an interesting new friend in the making, then changed from a trot to a bouncy, bounding run, popping up right next to the woman. "Hi! Why are you way out here? Are you waiting for someone? Are you scared? If you're scared that's ok, I'll help you feel better and won't let anyone bother you. Have you seen the shops yet? Or heard the music? Ooooo, the music is great it's my favorite part! Oh gee, you're all over sticks and stuff... did you fall down and get hurt? Is that why you're out here by yourself?"

to say the least, it was a surprise. her body jerking upwards, feet to stagger her back a few steps. still, she displayed no means of aggression, single eye widening as she started at the small figure. the way he jabbered on about this and that before farrah had the chance to steady her roaring heart. all within a single moment, she decided to not hear a single thing that was said. unable to process - no - refusing to process. her ears twisted backwards as the last of the stream of vocal fell from the girl. she eyed her, discovering she couldn't of been that old. even though farrah was small, she had yet to meet a wolf of her age smaller then she. thus she could only categorize her as a child. a category she wanted nothing to do with. her body stiffened, turning away from her. as her heart finally settled out of surprise, she provided forward. away from her. its going to follow you. her nostrils flared at the idea, both tormented by the possibly and upset he dared to mention it. her head turned, placing a peek in the girls direction.. a dangerous one of curiosity.. Aoife had paused expectantly for the woman to say something, but instead she had turned and walked away. Aoife stood blinking for a moment, then bounced after her quite happily. Ok, they would go for a walk, that would make her feel better! And the woman glanced back at her, so Aoife beamed at her with a gap-toothed grin. She bounced along at the woman's side without even a hint of an idea that the woman was trying to avoid her, instead humming quietly to herself for a moment in time to her bounces. "My name's Aoife, what's yours?" she piped up again.

she shouldn't of looked, she should of just ran. but the goofy looking smile pulled at her, delaying the speed in which she wished to take up. small things no doubt made her uncomfortable, but if she was going to look so happy about things... its name is aolfe. won't you give a name in return? a stupid question, so far she had given her name to a single wolf. and he had given it to another. with the chatter of words the moment she appeared, she didn't think giving her name would benefit her. but curious eye glanced her way as she bounced, as she hummed. as she followed along with farrahs will to run off, but unable to pull herself from the festival. she still wanted to go in, perhaps this active child could act as a shield.. stopping, her attention pulled to look directly at the girl. starring. The woman stopped abruptly and stared, but didn't say a word, not even to give her name. Aoife stopped too, one paw still raised, humming song ended suddenly midnote. Frozen in a tableau. Then her little face melted into sympathetic lines. "Oh, mebbe you cain't talk attall an I was so rude t' ass-yume you could." She nibbled delicately at her lip a moment in thought. How could she talk to someone who didn't talk? She didn't even know what her name was. Gasp. Maybe she didn't have a name. But that was silly, her mum would have given her a name. Unless she hadn't had a family either. Wow, this was getting really complicated. Like, really really complicated. "Weeell, it don't matter if you have a name'r a family, you kin just borrow mine," she decided, well, decisively, completely skipping saying any of that train of thought out loud. "My mum'n da will adopt you and give you a name an' then you won't be sad and scared no more!" With that all decided, she beamed up at her friend and wagged her tail.
