"Good to see you again, Cairo." Wyndelin offered a greeting as he moved over to the mule deer that they would need to skin for the competition. "I can start making the neck cut." Of course by him he meant his companion Flikkr. The bird's beak was better suited for clean cuts and since this was for a competition, Wyndelin wanted to do the job as cleanly as possible. He moved over to the neck where the kill bite had been made. Using his paws he pushed away on either side to pull the skin taut so that Flikkr could snip more effectively. The magpie flew down to the deers neck and with his sharp beak he started biting through the flesh. "Talk" |
