Tickled/burnt pink! [seasonal skill prompt]

Abby was out exploring again, though this time through shrubland rather than harsh desert. It felt familiar, but she knew the sense of deja vu was false. She had never been here before, but the low lying plants brought ancient memories from childhood.

Her mind lingered on her conversation with Lachlan. The conversation was awkward but strangely pleasant, like a tieing of a loose end. Still, the situation with his pack sounded dire, and shivered to think anything like that could happen to Fireside. She scanned the horizon again in an attempt to return to reminscing rather than worrying.

But thankfully, something else drew her attention just as effectively. A familiar irritating dryness had spread across her muzzle, where her grey fur was dappled white. She sighed. Sunburn, her old enemy.

She wrinkled her nose to test this hypothesis, and her skin stung in complaint. it was burnt alright, but not knowing a remedy she was prepared to deal with the damaged skin. She moved under one of the small but heavily leaved trees in an attempt to avoid the sun before it got worse.
