Halloween 2020 - Witches Hut
10-13-2020, 06:53 PM

Location: Daager Isle

Muzet hadn't explored much of the lands of Boreas, she had stuck around Auster most her life and eventually made her way north where she could sense an abundance of wolves. She wasn't the loner type herself and she longed for the companionship of others whether they were friend, foe, or alike. She avoided the multitude of packs around for now, not sure where she wanted to spend her next coming years. She wasn't that naive to just fall into a pack but also was becoming a bit desperate to find one. Her parents seemed to be out of the picture finally and she was definitely ready to move on to her next adventure of life.

She made her way out to the island simply interested by the structures that were spotted by the main shoreline. She wasn't one too fond of the sticky ocean water that would cover her coat but also not one of those little prissy girls that would complain about it either. She was beautiful either way how she saw it, and anyone would be willing to drop the world for her anyway. She wouldn't go to wash until she left the island of course. There was no reason to clean up and then go back out into the sea to clean up again on the mainland.

She shook off on the shore of the island, taking strides towards the treeline out of the sand ignoring the weird structures around for now. She wanted her paws to dry a bit before she trekked around the sand and entire island. She'd take a seat just off the coast, her head slowly swiveling to see her surroundings and wondering where to start. Summer was slowly fading as the days went on and the heat wasn't too exhilarating today. But still from the sands of the island, the heat radiated off the ground making it feel just a little too heated through the cloudless sky. Better she stay in the shade of the trees best she could.

Elise needed a distraction. She needed something or someone that might break the spell that was currently lingering on her mind, but it felt like everywhere she went she found herself pulled closer and closer to where she knew Iroh lived. It confused her more and more with each passing day and it almost became a game of avoiding him and his pack until the memories of their time together finally began to fade. As she was working her way along the Boreas shore, her sapphire eyes spotted an island out in the water and she wondered if that was finally her answer. Maybe if she isolated herself somewhere that he was surely not going to go then she could isolate herself long enough to forget about the tall, dark male. It was a fool's errand, but she'd try anything at this point. She took out across the water, thankful that it was at least in the heat of summer so the water was fairly mild. Of course she was drenched by the time she made it to the island, but that was no surprise. It was like catching a fish and noticing that it was wet. Of course it was, it came from the water. She climbed onto the sandy shore of the island and gave herself a good shake to get as much of the water as possible out of her coat.

She stood there for a while, scanning the tree line and peeking the run down buildings that hid behind them. At the very least there would be plenty to explore and enough to keep her busy for a good long while. Maybe she could spend a couple of days out here before she went back to the mainland... but that would all depend on if she found anyone else out here. She got awfully bored and lonely very, very quickly so if this place was completely abandoned then she would rather just go back and continue to struggle with her own desires than stick around here. Her ivory paws carried her along the beach while she kept herself out in the sunlight so the warmth of it could dry her fur. Once she made the swim back to the main shore she would worry about washing the salt out of her coat and cleaning up, but since she knew the swim back would just make her messy again she didn't bother.

Elise didn't notice the other wolf that was resting near the trees as she continued on her way, only stopping when she spotted a crab skittering across the sand a few feet ahead of her. She smirked a little and walked over to it, following the lines it left in the sand with its slender, spindly legs. It noticed her and turned to face her, stepping from side to side while snipping its claws in her direction. "Hey hey, little guy, don't get all worked up," she mumbled to the crab with a chuckle before realizing that she was talking to a crab and rolled her eyes at herself. Maybe she should just give in and go find Iroh again... at least then she wouldn't be so bored all the time.

As she continued to wait to get a little comfortable before exploring the odd island, she saw a rather dashing woman come across the sands nearby her. She watched only a few moments to see her interact with the crab, certainly silly if anything. But if Muzet was one to judge, she wasn't harsh. If anything her sarcasm could have been offensive but not to her intentions. She would wait until the spotted woman rolled her eyes and seemed just about done with her short endeavor before escaping out of the tree line, her dark form making a greater appearance against the sand compared to the bushes. "I don't suppose you made a friend have you?" A tiny joke, though her tone and smile were generous. "Guess if he don't like you there's the potential I could."

Muzet usually held a cheeky grin and it was easy to tell when she was pissed off or annoyed. She loved the company of others and that fact was pretty clear. But she wouldn't outwardly mention her loneliness unless in a moment of desperation. "Would you care to stroll with me around the island? I saw it from the mainland and it seemed like an interesting place. Can't say I wasn't disappointed until you came along." She didn't really fear that her flirty attitude would scare the woman off. She was rather confident herself. Though she preferred the company of men, she wasn't opposed to woman or at least a little fun banter back and forth. She couldn't help her own personality, it seemed to be something that grew on her during her rebellion.

The sound of paws against the sand pulled her attention up and away from her side-walking crustacean and instead bringing her eyes to land on a lovely dark brown and black woman that was heading straight for her. Her blue eyes looked at the woman curiously and the playful jab at her interactions with the crab brought an amused grin to her lips. What felt like subtle flirting in the second part of her quips caught Elise's attention and the red-headed wolf raised an intrigued brow at the other wolf. "Hm, I don't know... I can be awfully... crabby," she joked, pulling a laugh from herself at her own bad joke, clearly unbothered by the teasing that the wolf had given her at the start. She liked anyone that could be clever with their greetings and words and so far she wasn't disappointed.

Elise found herself grinning just as much in return with a similar cheeky, amused expression. What had started feeling like a sad attempt to escape her own thoughts was quickly changing back into what might be a very interesting time. If there had been any question about if the woman was flirting with her before, it was easily confirmed when she was specifically pointed out as a bright point in this trip to the island. She grin grew a bit more sly and she tipped her head toward the beach ahead of them. "It's like you were reading my mind," she said in return with a soft chuckle before resuming her walk along the shore with the very noticeable added benefit and addition of attractive company.

"I'm Elise, by the way," she added to finish off the proper part of her introduction, flashing the stranger with a quick glance and another grin as she added, "A pleasure to meet you." The island was surprisingly quiet with just the sound of the waves and the occasional caw of a seagull or some other bird in the trees to break up the quiet. At least the beach was pretty and she was still curious about the ruins that were hiding within the trees, but she was far more interested in her surprise company than she was the island itself. She passed a seashell that was partially buried in the sand and paused just long enough to flick it with her paw and send it toward the water, watching as it landed a few feet form where it started.

Muzet was pleased with the nearly mirrored reaction from the beautiful woman, and when she would continue her offer of exploring the island, she wouldn't hesitate to move forward down the beach with her.

As they walked, she tried to stay beside the woman opposed to letting her take the lead or Muzet wanting to lead herself. Instead she was hoping the two of them would just fall into place with each other and they would get into a groove with each other's steps as if they connected on some other sort of level. She could only hope though. And it wasn't necessarily to find a deeper meaning or relationship in their chance meeting. Only something to make their time together more enjoyable.

The woman introduced herself and Muzet in turn would dip her head in response, "Muzet. A pleasure indeed." She'd watch the seashell that Elise skipped in front of them, and Muzet would put her nose to the ground as if she would find something interesting other than a seashell. And she wasn't wrong. When she found the strange object that had washed on the shore probably ages ago, she would take her paw and dig gently over top of it to reveal a broken and faded light amethyst necklace that could have been reused to make into something more beautiful but otherwise in it's current state seemed useless. The jem even seemed to fall to pieces as her delicate touch went over it. Though still pretty to look at. "Suppose we should leave it for the next lucky soul to find their way to this Island." She'd look back to her red companion with still that same grin, though a tiny pile of sand stuck on top of her nose from her searching. Her eyes crossing before she gave a little shake though not really worried about her appearance.

"Think we should go check out those weird reflective structures over there?" Her head turned to point over to the buildings nearby. They seemed pretty spooky considering they were overgrown with vines and moss, and also their meaning and history unknown to Muzet. She wasn't one to run from a small amount of the unknown fear though. Even if she could be one to make up stories about beasts and ghosts for a good scare, she didn't believe they would become real.

A beautiful name for a beautiful woman," she chimed in with a smirk after Muzet had introduced herself. She wasn't shy about her flirting and it seemed like she had stumbled upon someone who wasn't afraid to flirt a bit either. It was a nice surprise considering she had come out her with her only intentions being to get away from her own thoughts for a moment. It was also even more rare to find a woman so forward in her advances toward her so it felt a bit like she had found a piece of treasure. As the thought crossed her mind, the darkly colored woman at her side paused to search through the sand for a bit and Elise stopped to watch her curiously.

When she uncovered the bit of jewelry, Elise's sky blue eyes lit up with surprise and she spent a moment "ooo"ing and "aaah"ing over it. Of course it was broken and tarnished, but it was the first little something like this she had found out in the wild and not already claimed by someone else. She was a little disappointed to see that the gem itself was also just as crumbling as the rest of it so it would be incredibly difficult to make it into anything worth keeping. Giving up on the idea to try crafting it into something else, she nodded in agreement to Muzet's suggestion of leaving it for the next treasure hunter before looking up just in time to see the sand stuck to the end of the woman's nose and the way her eyes crossed to look at it. It made Elise giggle girlishly and grin, watching as Muzet shook her head. Elise brought her nose to Muzet's and gently booped them together so that she ended up with a bit of sand on her nose as well before giving Muzet a daring, amused glance. At the suggestion that they go to check out the building in the distance, she glanced over Muzet's shoulder at the structures in question before giving a determined nod. "Absolutely... Lead the way," she agreed easily before bringing her gaze back to the other woman's interesting green-hued gaze.

Muzet didn't flinch away from the woman's interaction but when their noses touched didn't really think of it as romantic as some might feel. More of a teasing feeling, though Muzet honestly had no intentions of moving on more intimately with Elise. There was no harm done and she certainly wasn't offended by it.  "It would be my pleasure." She responded generously before swaying to face the strange buildings and moving on.

When they came close to the structures, there was a large broken window that would be easy for both of them to slide through without getting stuck or injured getting inside and Muzet would go ahead and slip in first, taking a step down into the ruins. Her head would spin around to be sure Elise would be okay going through the glass, "Careful now." Not at all in a serious tone but she was worried about the footing under them and as the man-made cave darkened from the ceiling and the trees.

She moved out of the way so Elise would have plenty of room once entered. Her gaze wandering around the overgrown walls of the place, nothing that could have been identifiable to the creatures that made it. The room they had entered was medium sized, the doorways that could have lead them deeper into the maze were either caved in or overgrown with thick brush and moss. There was sure to be more ways to enter the different structures around island, though Muzet didn't have any interest in searching every inch of the place. Sure it was unique to see something that wasn't necessarily made by nature itself, but the room seemed mostly boring after you admired the overall lost civilization inside. There wasn't much to admire though as most of it was hidden by the vegetation that grew or the destruction of the stabilization over many years. "Interesting place," She'd speak out before looking to her companion after a short look over of the place. "Though not enough to hang around. I'll be ready to head out when you are." She didn't want to just simply leave the stunning woman behind, there was no reason to abandon her. So if Elise wanted to go around more, she wouldn't hesitate to stay with her to her heart's content.
