She knew too much of this pack, she knew too much about it and its current leader. She and Erani hadn't exactly gotten along on their last meeting and Vi wasn't about to let that go. As well.. She had made a promise to her brother. For now she would power through it, force herself to approach the boarders one step at a time even as teeth ground around the leaf basket she carried. Half of her wanted to turn around, the other half wanted to shred the herbs right then and the. The only thing that stopped her was the knowledge that her brother was here. That he had a family here and that they were also her family. Family was everything after all. She stopped a short distance from the boarder, dropping her bundle as always but for once she did not sit, instead standing tall. Though tail remained at a neutral position she held herself with dignity. Head tipped back and an easy howl flowed out, calling for an alpha and her brother and any other healers who might want to come. More then anything she wanted to see her brother though. As the howl cut off head would tip down slightly and lantern gaze would slip across the plains laid out before her. Weird place...

He hardly left Isis anymore, hardly ate or slept. He continuously tried different herbs on her, trying to break the favour but to no avail. Even when the howl came for him and any high ranking valhallans he could barely lift his head, bleary eyes gazing out of the den shortly. He recognized it kind of? Vi? Friction spent a moment listening to the echoes of the howl before leaning down to place a kiss atop Isis's head."I'll make this better sweetie. But stay here for now." He murmured before standing upend slipping out of the den. He blinked at the harsh light, arcing his neck to try and get away from it but he didn't wait long before he started off at a lope towards the boarders. When he arrived there she was, his little sister his mother had hidden from them their entire lives. It had been hard to wrap his head around it all but he had accepted it and now here she was, standing and smiling with a strange leaf wrapped around something. What could she have? "It's good to see you Vi. But nows not a great time. My daughter is sick..." He hated to be brief with family but already he wanted to turn around and race back to Isis.

The was probably one of the longest waits she had yet experianced, standing at the boarders and shifting almost uncomfortably. She didn't like this place and she didn't want to be here long. But after a while he would arrive, padding towards her looking drawn and worn. Who was sick? Was it her neices and nephews? But then again she had worked Orchid to the ground being the only healer of the pack. But weren't there others to help him? He stopped a short distance off and Vi reached forward to lick his chin in a show of both affection and submission. He was the older of all her siblings and after months of watching him from a distance growing up she liked to think that she knew him at least a bit.

When he spoke he confirmed her fears and she sighed heavily. She didn't even know her Neices name... "Then your in luck. We have found a cure. Here. It's alfalfa, horsetail and valerian root. Spread it amongst your pack... I'll be back for my payment later..." though her smile was easy there was a hardness to her tone. A promise. Again she would reach forward, licked her brothers cheek then turned and set off home. She needed to set some things in motion before she carried on with everything. So many things to do...

She had been out looking for more herbs they could use, letting the fresh bitter cold air clear her foggy mind. So far her cold had not affected anyone else nor did being near those plagued with the sickness affect her. She worried endlessly over Amia. The poor girl was stricken with the plague and it tore at the healer's heart. The girl was like a daughter she never had and if she lost her, Imena wasn't sure she could ever think of having a family again. Though she tried to rest she found sleep fruitless and far out of reach. She knew Cael was worried and Erani, but she refused to stop till they found a cure. So far only two herbs were working slightly and she knew they were close to finding the last puzzle piece.

A howl went up, one calling for healers and Erani but a voice she didn't know. She sighed heavily, dragging her paws across the earth as she tried to find the energy to move at least at a trot. When she arrived she was just in time to see a red figure disappear into the distance. Ears twitched as she silently headed over to Friction. Lightly she bumped shoulders with her fellow Healer in greeting.Friction...whats going on? She voice was scratchy but hope lite her eyes as she stared down at the leaf bundle before them.

She greeted him pleasantly, respectfully oddly enough. Wasn't she an alpha now? It was odd, he couldn't help but feel a strange disconnect as he smiled in return to her. He had never really met her before and though Zara had confirmed that Vi was in fact their younger sister Friction still barely knew the younger woman. She seemed off, something about her never really settling right with Friction but for that reason he was glad they were family and he was on her good side. When she finally spoke his eyes widened, staring down at the leaf bundle she had brought with her as she named each of the herbs hat made up the cure. That didn't sound right? But her last comment left him slack jawed, gaping at her and gasping like a fish out of water. He couldn't find any words to respond and like that she was gone, disappearing back to wherever she had come form.

Imena arrived a moment later, bumping his shoulder and seeming to knock him out of is trance. What had just happened? Stunned gaze was turned back to Imena before motioning wordlessly towards the bundle Vi had left for them. "That was? my sister. She said that the herbs in there are the cure. Horsetail, alfalfa and valerian root." He felt breathless, light headed. Was this really the cure? He was torn between joy and between confusion towards Vi's parting words. "Uh? Can you take these to the sick? I want to bring some to Isis right away?" He was still kind of breathless, reaching down to nudge at the leaf and pluck out a small amount of each herb. All three of the herbs she had listed were in there. Weird? But he didn't leave straight away, instead looking to Imena to see if she would agree or if she would want him to stay and help her.
