Definitely just a social visit

The winged boy shuffled from foot to foot, feeling off and rebellious as he stood outside the territory of Habari. The border smelled good. Fresh, and new. Almost familiar, but not quite. Similarities to home, knowing they were a part of the Empire, and a part of the family that had birthed it.

This was just a social visit. He wasn’t really contemplating joining. That would mean leaving the Armada, leaving Sirius. Sirius didn’t get left, he let you go, and why would he let free one of his chosen heirs? But perhaps... Perhaps he could join on a temporary basis, like a learning curve. A chance to see how things are done somewhere else.

For the moment, he was just here to see a friend. That's what she had become, when she cared about the fate of her sister, and showed patience in her listening. He knew little of her, but that she was sweet, and had suddenly taken on a large burden. So he was just… he was just checking in. working up his courage, he raised his head and called, a few paces back from the border.
