Aurielle Adravendi

She’d taken over from Justice for a few hours, letting the new – and likely only time – mother have time to herself while Aurielle led the pups on a small jaunt around the territory, showing them more of it, where the dens were, where the cave system was in the hillock, and where the pack met occasionally.

She glanced back at the pups, teasing just ahead of their noses with the long hairs of her tail, enticing them to play as she bounced forward a few steps. She’d been watching them grow and develop, visiting often. Fidelias was quiet, rule-abiding. His brother and sister were more exuberant and energetic. She wouldn’t be surprised if at least one of the two decided to go on their own way when they were yearlings. But looking at them, watching their baby tusks grow, she had a good idea who the father was. Unless there was some other man with tusks, she was pretty sure their father was the man she’d met in the Cove.

She’d have to track him down, and see what he wanted for them as the father. Both parents’ input was important, as was the desire of the children.

For now though, she just let herself enjoy being a pupsitter, casting aside the metaphorical crown just to be silly with the pups, just as she was with her own. “Who wants to hunt hares?”

At first glance, Aurielle's coat is pure white.. Her fur has an iridescent quality (like moonstones) where the fur shimmers different colors under various angles of light: in this case, the colors shown by rainbow moonstones. Not one hair on her hide is a solid unnatural color, but, ya know, it's really hard to convey that in still art :P
Aurielle's English is heavily laden with an Irish, Swedish mixed accent.
Her family is allowed to crash all her threads, Private and Open.
As of Autumn Year 14, Aurielle glows with a bright blue-white bio-luminescence in her fur, and bears a marking over her left eye - see profile and reference.

Kaija wasn't totally sure about this lady just yet. She was a lot different than her mom and dad, but it was a rarity that her mom wasn't trying to kick them all out of the den and out of her fur, so the prospect of actually being invited somewhere was pretty exciting. The good mood seemed to ripple through the kids, and Kaija was no exception, swinging her tusked head from side to side as she barrelled after Aurielle across the plains. She was growing, and quite fast too; before long she would surely outgrow her mother, and eventually at least one of her siblings, already quite bulky for a child.

She wasn't too excited by the little den tour, but she was excited to go on an adventure. "Arne! Fi! Last one there's a rotten egg!" She shouted after her siblings, completely oblivious as to where they were - or if they were even behind her at all - as she chased after Aurielle, reaching out to grab hold of her waving tail, to no avail. "Hares? Are they scary?" She asked, coming to a skidding halt as her eyes widened dramatically. Hunting sounded fun, especially since all she'd ever really hunted were bugs right outside the mouth of their family den, chasing them as they tried to fly off and hop away, almost always moving more quickly than she was able to.

Fidelias trotted quietly along with his bobbed tail low, head level with his spine and his shoulders hunched uncomfortably. It wasn't quite a slink, but the pup was clearly not comfortable in the company of anyone but his siblings yet. Nonetheless his pale amethyst gaze was taking in everything around him - carefully avoiding meeting anyone else's gaze - as they were brought on a tour he hadn't really wanted to go on but couldn't politely turn down so he thought he should at least make the most of it and memorize everything. It wasn't that he didn't want to know about the lands the pack claimed, it was just that it was too... much. Too much input all at once, and he couldn't process it and digest it slowly by himself, but rather was caught up in a whirlwind of light and color and sights and sounds and smells as everything moved so quickly around him. At this point even Aurielle whisking her longhaired glowing glimmery tail at them to try to get them to play was overwhelming nearly to the point of shutting down, so he dropped his eyes and hunched his shoulders more and plowed forward determinedly. He couldn't even bring himself to answer her question, though yes he did like the idea of hunting hares. Justice brings us hares, he thought to himself, willing the words but they stuck before he could even make his mouth open. I like hunting, but they refused to be spoken. The words strangled and died in his chest, and the best he could manage was the barest nod, his gaze locked on his forepaws.
