Viper wasn’t sure exactly how she felt about pack life yet. Hattori hadn’t given her any tasks so she wouldn’t say she felt like a dog on a leash as she expected. She expected to be told what to do and obey what the others asked of her. And sure it was coming, but if they treated her as kindly as they were, it may have been worth it to her to help them in the long run. Only time would tell if she could ever feel the security and family of what a pack was like. Perhaps she felt it once when she was very young, but those memories were trashed with her abandonment.

She had a hard time with deciphering the packs boundaries, and stayed more inside the lands than on the edge or outside. And kept away from the Armada lands. If anyone had noticed her in her short time here, there was definitely and easy to see anxiety about being around any of the scented borders around her. She wasn’t aware that she could have been watched or even noticed in the pack for that matter.

She stalked around the bone trees of the shrine, spotting the odd pool hidden in the center of the land. She didn’t show any fear of the strange shrine, only interest as she sneaked to the edge of the labeled stones. Peering inside she’d see her distorted reflection and the fish that swam around the bottom. Surprisingly she wouldn’t go to hunt them and instead just kept her gaze following one after another. Lost in thought. Though not really sure what was on her own mind.

Life ran in such strange ways. Being stolen away only to be bought and brought right back to where she had started... it certainly wasn't what she had expected to happen when the door to her cell had been opened and revealed the two wolves that purchased her from those slavers. She had been right in her guess that they had been related to Venom when she smelled that familial notes in their scents, but she certainly hadn't expected for them to bring her back to Ashen. Figuring out where she stood now was difficult, but she was pleased by the lady she now got to serve. The two-toned man was more of a mystery and a bit of a concern for her, but Siren was lovely and she considered herself lucky so far. Growing up, she had seen far, far worse out comes for some of the wolves around her. Fate had landed her within Ashen twice now so she felt confident that this was where she was meant to be.

She moved though the pale trees around the Alabastrine Shrine, keeping her eyes peeled for herbs that she might be able to deliver to Siren. Healing had never been a particularly strong skill or talent of hers since the lowest classes where she was raised had been mostly relegated to fighting and hunting. Healing had always been something reserved for the more elite wolves and the shamans where she was raised. That didn't seem to be the case here, though Siren did hold the same air about her that the royal ladies she was used to did. Since that was her lady's passion she made it her own, working diligently to be the best assistant she could be.

As she reached the luminescent pool in the middle of the territory, her gaze landed on an oddly familiar figure though it did take her a moment to place where it was she had seen this woman before. The memory was a bit hazy and strangers did certainly look different in the daylight, but her coloring and patterns were distinctive enough to remember. Was this woman part of the pack now? Her ears flicked uncertainly as she stood behind one of the trees, just out of sight. If this was someone she was going to need to live with she ought to make amends... With a soft sigh she came out into the open, approaching the woman with a dip of her head. "Hello." What did you say to someone that you accidentally attacked once upon a time?

Viper didn’t physically jump to the voice of another woman from around her as her focus was pinned on the fish below the shrine’s waters. But as the silence broke, her attention slowly pulled to the familiar woman, though unrecognized by Viper. Sure there was a little hint on the outskirts of Viper’s mind but she wouldn’t question it. Perhaps a good thing since their encounter was not so good. But maybe she avoided the recognition since the only times she usually found herself among wolves from her past it ended her up in a pit or in front of her mother.

"Uh, hi." she cut it short, not sure how to really interact with wolves anymore after her shabang in Fireside. She used to be a little more adventurous and carefree. She used to think highly of herself overall and could care less about her image or how others perceived her. But after Fireside and after Jupiter, she was broken. She didn’t know how to feel or what to think. She realized she wasn’t like other wolves her age now and she didn’t know what she could do to fix it.

"Do you think the fish down there are magic or somethin’?" an honest question, maybe not even a dumb one. But Viper didn’t know what else to talk to the familiar woman about, and she certainly wasn’t going to bring up the thought that she may actually know her. Not that she would turn aggressive if the slave-lady brought it up. It wasn’t like they were related and she could prod Viper for details of her birth pack and from there on.
