A bit of wandering was certainly not out of the ordinary for him, but there was a little bit of an anterior motive for the trip out of the lands that Ashen owned today. With the tireless training he had been doing as of late, he kept wanting to push himself more and more and test his skills with more difficult opponents. A brief conversation with his brother brought up the idea of facing off against a far larger opponent at the very least and while he was intrigued by the idea it certainly wasn't something he would think to face on his own. He was headstrong and thirsty for a challenge, but he wasn't an idiot. However, with Chimera at his side... that was a slightly different story. He had an idea of where to find such an opponent since he had seen bears fairly often while he was out this direction doing his own solo training. He took long, even strides along the beach that led to the large cave and with a glance toward his brother he shifted his path to head into the darkness of the cavern, knowing that the fish filled pond deep within attracted bears well enough on its own without the added factor of the growing bitter cold outside. |
