Legacies

The swim had been long but her training had helped to reach land. The spotted woman would deny there had been a moment where she thought she might not make it. Anything about that was put to the back of her mind when she felt sand under her paws. Then she was splashing through the shallows until she reached dry land.

Emiko shook the water off her black and white coat before taking stock of her new surroundings. She wondered if she might find what she was looking for in this land.

First things first. It had been a long swim and now she was hungry and thirsty. Black and white paws carried her through through the grass on her search for food and water.
