The heir competition had been going on for a long time now. Azure had matured as time went on, and showed more constraint and consideration in his actions. He could still be rash and thought with his emotions more often than his head, but there had been definite improvement. Together, they had taken out the thread to Hana, and stood together as a team. It had been a good feeling, to see what his son was becoming. To get a glimpse of the man he would one day be. Hana had breed compassion into his war-machine son, and children might one day mellow Azure out as it had the Warlord. For the moment, he was still young, impulsive, and full of hormones. Lately, the boy had been even more moody than usual, and it was time the Warlord caught up with him. He wanted to see what the boy's line of ambition looked like, and help guide him into the leader he would one day be. Falling to his paws, the Warlord picked up a trail of Azure’s scent, and followed it down through the grasslands. |
