Not long after her return to Habari after her vacation with Magnus Deathbelle could feel the changes of her body. She was no longer in heat, her scent was subtly changing, and the beginning stages of morning sickness took her. There was no doubt in her mind what happened. As she walked towards Ashen she wasn’t sure how she herself felt. Belle had to post pone her trip as she battled with her fickle stomach but now that the night was settling over the land she made her way to meet with her love.

Long distance was… strange to say the least. Magnus had his responsibilities and she had hers, being together all of the time was not possible. They loved each other enough that they managed, she missed him but was proud of his place in the Armada. Perhaps now that she was carrying his pups she could patch up her relationship with the Warlord and his queen, and she might be able to spend more of her time with Magnus. Especially when she started to get close to the end. She’d want to have him beside her when she got to critical mass.

There was a lot to speak about and plans to make, but the first step was the reveal. Deathbelle took a deep breath and called to Magnus.

Magnus couldn't stop thinking about the time he'd spent with Belle on the island, filling his dreams and waking thoughts with her more than they already had been. The distance between them was difficult to manage and he hated not being able to hold Belle while they slept. He'd gotten too comfortable during the days they spent on that island and it made his heart long for her even more. It's like she had read his mind when he heard her call and he hurried to meet her, excited for the surprise visit today. He hadn't a clue that there might be a reason to her visit, but was ecstatic nonetheless and kept up a quick pace to shorten the distance between them as fast as possible.

A toothy grin was plastered to his face when he arrived and he was quick to wrap his arms around her and press his face into her neck. "I missed you." He spoke into her fur, adding a soft kiss after a nibble he placed after he spoke.

Had she the choice Deathbelle might not have left the island again once she and Magnus were forced to return to their duties. Living with him, being with him, knowing nothing but him by her side was the refreshment she needed. However hard it made the distance now. She missed waking to him in the morning, surrounded by his warmth and greeted with his love. They were special days and special memories that she would not forget. Especially now.

She had been a healer for a long time and knew her own body quite well. She hadn’t planned for them but she hadn’t been actively trying to prevent a pregnancy either. Detahbelle had no doubt in her mind now.

Magnus didn’t take long to find her, and Belle grinned brightly as he approached. She held tightly to him as he closed the distance and pulled her in tightly to his embrace. ”Magnus,” she greeted in return as he nibbled and kissed at her neck. ”I missed you too.” She aimed to wrap her speckled arms tightly around his neck as she pulled him in, eager for his affection. ”There’s something I came to tell you though,” however much she wanted to get lost in his embrace they had important news. ”You’re going to be a father.”
