Yellow eyes flickered open and closed a few times, trying to adjust to the bright light of day. Had she slept that long? The monochrome lady let out a sigh and noticed her breath left a fog all around her muzzle. Even with the sun rising ever so slowly, it was still so unbearably cold. She lifted herself off the knotted branches she found as her sleeping place and stretched her pale legs. She sniffed the frigid air and couldn't pick up Powder - the little skunk must be off exploring.

She arrived in an exhausted haze and didn't properly take note of her surroundings the night before. Sleepily she noted the area was packed with ancient willows with roots so coiled and tangled you could live in them. The nomadic girl wondered if that would make a good stopping place for now. It was winter, it was horribly chilly, and she was hungry and exhausted.

Brrr, this cold was not her friend! She had come here looking for warm bodies to snuggle, but so far everyone seemed tied up in pack life. No fun there, when they had to go home in the end, putting them past borders and out of reach.

She skirted carefully around the swamp-like land beneath the swooping, tall trees. Dancing lightly across gnarly roots, and humming softly to herself as the colourful fae explored. Movement caught her eye, and drew her gaze to the stony-toned creature settled upon a coil of roots. She was like a little rock-sprite, nestled there. She was so small!

Perking up at the thought of finding a creature to admire her, she sauntered on over. “Do little forest sprites get cold?” she called as she approached, wiggling her brows and smiling daintily at the other creature.

"Speech"

Lost in her own thoughts, she didn't notice the blue stranger's approach. Keetie's voice cut through Noe's personal bubble like a shot of lightning. She jumped, twirled around on tiny paws, and stared at the blue wolf with wide eyes. Never had she seen a canine with such a look. The young female before her was absolutely massive, with swirling blue across her black fur. Noe hadn't seen a wolf quite like her in her entire life. She (rudely) stared for a few lingering moments before catching herself. Wait, what did she ask? Do forest sprites… get cold?

Is she joking? Noe wondered, pondering the strange question for a few moments. Her fast breaths left little clouds of vapor clinging to her nostrils. "Sometimes." The shy wolf couldn't quite look directly at this other wolf. She kept her eyes low and out of the way, her tail relaxed, her ears slicked back nervously.
