set on Inu?

Siren never thought her long fur very useful. Especially as a puppy she was always tripping over her long locks and she was often unkept, ungroomed, and full of knots. Today she was a much different wolf from the scrap of a puppy she had been. Deathbelle kept her alive, but there were days when she didn’t see her mother at all. She was fed and.. She was fed. There was little training, less interaction, and all she felt like she had was Chimera. They’d raised each other. Siren knew there wasn’t a single other being alive that she could rely on. The world didn’t care about her, and she didn’t care about the world.

She disliked the long fur of her coat, but now it was combed and braided. The extra protection from the elements made the winter hold out easier. She was decorated with Chimera’s golden gift, the delicate white gold piece rested on her forehead. While she lay relaxed on the beach. A dark fur protected her from the sand, and she positioned herself facing southward to avoid the wind and pretend that the sun was shining. She was mostly nocturnal anyway, but the constant cold was beginning to ebb at her.

The girl huddled into her sphynx-like position as a gust disturbed her and she debated about returning to the forest. She wasn’t sure what to do with herself these days. Siren was grateful to be returned to her island, but she felt like more of a drain on resources, to Chimera and the pack. Especially in weather like this.

Raijin made his way toward the palace with a big fat fish in his mouth to give to Venom. While Hattori was away on the mock raid he’d promised him he’d look after the heavily pregnant Empress along with his Aunt Kiyo. So much had changed in just a few months it was hard to believe, all of it coming on the heels of the iridescent healer. He was glad to have her with them and the changes weren’t for the worse anyhow, especially not with the surprising news of the coming of his cousin’s first litter. Honestly it had been shocking. He hadn’t expected the man to sire pups before him, what with his...pious...ways and Raijin’s...not so pious...ways. Still, it was probably for the best. The Genji man probably didn’t deserve to have little tikes of his own running around. The world couldn’t handle their charms.

He traced his way across the sand of the shore toward the main entrance, pausing when a tiny tan form came into view. A brow quirked over his golden gaze and instead of heading right inside, he decided to pick his way over to the wolf. As he grew closer he could see the she-wolf he’d spotted with Chimera at the meeting, a nameless woman who he’d yet to formally meet somehow. Well, of course that would have to change.

The large man pranced over, a muffled chuff escaping its way around the fish in his mouth. He dropped it on the ground next to him and gave himself a shake a few feet away, his usual charming grin slipping onto his features as he looked at the braided girl with blue and silver eyes. The first thing that struck him was that she was very pretty. “Hello, I don’t think we’ve formally met. My name’s Genji Raijin, though you’re free to just call me Raijin,” he introduced, hoping she’d grace him with an introduction of her own.

Siren didn’t spend any considerable time near her half siblings, not that she really felt like she could call anyone but Chimera brother. None of them were worth her time, but she lived beneath Venom’s rule and thanks to Chimera her place on the tiny island was secure. She looked after the two wolves who lived there with her, and that was all she felt like she needed to do. The Empire had failed her and Chi and the young woman felt she deserved what she was given, if not more. Chimera liked to spoil her, a far cry from the way his boy self had treated her. A lot had changed since their childhood and Siren often felt much older than her nearly two years.

Before the chilled girl could relocate her solitude was interrupted. She’d noticed an uptick in these red and black splotched wolves within the Empire. Not that she cared, but she had observed. Dual toned eyes peered into him as he approached with confidence and a grin. Siren didn’t get to her paws, and didn’t fully appreciate his charm. She sighed softly to herself in exasperation but put on her princess face just for him. Despite the royal colored aura that lay sleekly over his coat Siren was so far unimpressed.

”Greetings, Raijin.” Siren offered with a slight tilt of her head. Of all the habits she picked up when she was young her manners were by far the most developed. ”Siren Primrose Klein,” For a moment she debated what she wanted him to call her. Just Siren, ms. Klein, the false name Rose? ”Just Siren,” She was one of only two true Kleins remaining, but she had learned not to rely on a name. ”Can I.. help you?” Did he have a reason for disturbing her, he had that fish and likely somewhere to be.
