He took in a deep breath of the surprisingly cool spring air. It was here, it had come at last. The boy was a year old, and adventure awaited him. Surely he was old enough now to make his own way in the world. To explore, and find his place. He did not want to do it alone. He had promised Ruin he would go with her, and he intended to do exactly that. He planned to be at his sisters beck and call. She was the smart one, he was just good at finding trouble. She planned mischief as easily as she breathed.

He hoped to drag another along with them. His twin was always there. He felt like he could always turn around and find the brother, twin of his heart. He went looking for Ku first, sticking his nose in the air and prancing about as he moved through his brother's favourite spots, searching.

Haiku was a bit more subdued than his siblings, he enjoyed tagging along on adventure for sure. However, he was far from the ring leader. He'd recently gotten a raven message from Bowen, she made it to Auster and seemed to be settling in alright. Haiku sent his own message in return, that he missed playing with her. That he was training hard, and that he'd come and see her soon. Now that he was older he had permission to leave the pack's lands. He was practically an adult, however much the massive boy didn't feel like it.

The boy was digging around in the snow that remained covering the lands around them. He was desperate to find some live herbs and plants. He missed the warmth and greeness of the world and it seemedlike he was going to have to wait longer to get back to greenery. He sighed softly but was interrupted by the sight of his near twin.

”Sen!” He greeted warmly as he lifted himself to his paws. ”You look like you're looking for something.”

He was bursting with the look of someone with news to share. He found Haiku easily enough, digging about in the snow, until more than just his natural patches were white splatters against his coat. The boy snickered softly, and pawed at an extra white mark on his brother's nose. “Happy birthday Haiku!” he said with excitement. And boy, did their birthday mean so much. It meant they were more accepted as young adults, and could do more for themselves.

“I’m looking for you, silly. What are we going to do now? We can leave the pack we can explore! Don’t you want to see mountains, and hunt through deserts?”

Senryu skipped towards him with a huge grin on his face that poorly hid the mischief beneath. Haiku was always excited to get into trouble with his siblings, of course he didn’t enjoy the lectures afterwards either and was the most affected by those lessons. Sen pawed at his nose and he let his twin boop his nose with a grin and glint in his blue and lavender gaze.

Haiku was surprised at the resistance he felt as Sen offered him the world. Other than their trip to Ashen and the odd outing their dad took them on Haiku had little inner desire to go. He did not like that feeling at all. So the boy pushed the thought down and let his grin mirror Sen’s mischief.

”Only if I get to see them with you!” He chuckled back to his brother, he should know by now that Haiku would follow him anywhere, but he had too much Rhyme deep down.
